Official Creality Ender 3 Neo 3D Printer Print Size 8.66x8.66x9.84 inch

I have used a number of different manufactures of PLA and all have been satisfactory to good. I decided to buy the Creality brand as I have a CR10-S and thought this filament will be the perfect match however this is the worse filament I have ever used, after numerous attempts of changing temperature settings etc I could not get a half decent first layer printed, each time I tried it would split and sometimes wrap. After wasting a couple of hours I have decided to return it for a full refund. I did manage to print a small temperature tower and the print quality was useless below 200 degrees which is surprising as the box states a temperature range 180 to 215 degrees which makes me wonder that the reel supplied to me is not PLA.

I've been using the Creality PLA that came with my printer and have had some great results, easy printing and sturdy models. This stuff however is terrible. Very brittle on the roll ( snapped 3 times before I could get it through the extruder on loading.) My first print was at 205 / 50 and adhered well ( a bit too well ) to the bed and had good layer adhesion but suffered from terrible stringing. Lowered the temp on the next print to 195 and it solved the stringing issue but now all the layers are separating and I can't remove anything from the bed without splitting the model. It's also leaving a horrible white residue on the bed surface after removal. Overall not a nice experience - wasted time & money !

The windings are crossed over and tangled leading to a breakage every 5 or 6 hours if not around to untangle. This is not careless printing or handling I believe on my part, but a problem with the winding in the factory.

Can't fault it. It was my first roll of filament and chances are I'll come back - well wound, excellent results, great all round especially for the printer it seems to be intended for. Well done lads!
