Very in depth book, hard going but very informative if you are already familiar with remote viewing and associated remote viewing, not for beginner's.

Scholarly researched. Documented. Intelligent. Well written. Good illustrations. In-depth discussion of ARV at 700+ pages. Includes interesting personal and anecdotal stories. This book has Information you will not find in other books or research papers. Contains two chapters (53 pages) on the subject of displacement. The authors report facts, but also give their opinions based on their extensive ARV experience concerning subjects that lack conclusive evidence.

This book is a thorough survey of the field of Associative Remote Viewing as it exists today. Those new to ARV will be saved enormous research time by making this book the first book they read on the subject. Others currently practicing ARV will also benefit from the book as it contains numerous fresh perspectives, references, and documentation of results previously unpublished to date.

What I have finally realized after researching remote viewing for about a year is this: most of the people who have success at it are natural psychics. The big names (which you will run accross right away) as well as the less well-known practitioners have had precognitive dreams and psychic episodes for most of their lives. I am not a natural psychic, and cannot find a firm footing with remote viewing after a disciplined good try. Still, I found this book to be a consciousness-expander. It is lengthy, and the authors ramble quite a bit in an attempt to cover the entire history and spectrum of a big subject. But any project that Debra Lynn Katz applies her heart to is worth a read. The chapter on time (Chapter 7) is one you're likely to read over and over because it is the essence of the book. Associative remote viewing seems to me to be about accessing information from a time period other than the one you perceive yourself to be in.
