OXOGood Grips Pro Swivel Peeler

This is an amazing peeler. BUT be warned!!! It is extremely sharp and sliced the tip of my finger by accident when I was emptying the dishwasher and it wasn't placed correctly inside. I love how easily it glides on fruits, vegetables and/or cheese. It is very easy to clean and the stainless steel looks beautiful. It is the perfect size to use on a variety of items. Works exceptionally well.

Worth every penny. I didn’t know what a difference a good peeler makes. A sharp blade makes it so easy to use.

This is the best peeler on the market, hands down. Sturdy, with a comfortable non-slip grip and a sharp, sharp SHARP blade.Here’s a quibble and a plea: When I bought my first one of these years ago, OXO sold replacement blades for about $5. [Yes, the blade will pop out and pop back in without much effort]. Because like any cutting tool, the edge will eventually wear and need to be resharpened or replaced. I replaced mine every year or so until I found that OXO had discontinued the replacement blades from its catalog.It seems a shame and really wasteful to toss the entire peeler when the only wear item is a user replaceable part… the cutting edge. I understand OXO would prefer to sell more peelers for $15 rather than have customers buy one that lasts for a lifetime and just sell $5 parts for it; but come on.

I believe it could be sharper. I also thought it was a little bit heavy

I wish I had ordered this sooner. It has made peeling, which used to be a nightmare, so much faster. This thing is SHARP. Made peeling potatoes into a 15 minute job before the holidays, where it used to take an hour. Great weight to it, the feel is perfect for slicing. Have even gone so far as to julienne carrots with it. Has lasted in our home for more than 6 months without issue as far as durability goes. Still wicked sharp. Easy to use, just be careful to not take your skin off on accident (from experience).
