So far, so good
Very nice exercise bike for the money. Seems fairly well built, having used angular steel instead of steel tubing for the main support structure. Have been using it for several weeks now, and so far no major complaints. But, I would like to mention several minor issues I did notice during assembly and initial first use. First, the display ONLY registers speed and distance in KILOMETERS, not MILES-PER-HOUR as I feel it should for the American market. And there is no way to change it. There is a small letter "K" on the left side of the display that indicates this. During assembly, several of the screws and washers are mislabeled between the manual and the actual parts. Such as, the manual says use part #51, but the actual part is labeled as part #61 in the kit. The screws to attach the display are already screwed into the back of the display unit. The manual suggests these screws are separate from the display unit and located somewhere else in the kit. They are not. The seat is VERY HARD and a bit of an awkward design. Men may find it particularly uncomfortable the longer they ride. My bike arrived with damage to the foam padding on the handle bars, as well as a large paint chip on the left handle bar. See pictures. I contacted the company about it, but so far no response as to getting replacements. It took about half a day to assemble the bike, but do yourself a favor and use real tools to assemble the bike. Such as a deep socket metric set, and a real Phillips screw driver and Allen wrenches. The tools that come with the kit suck.

Such an Incredible Disappointment
First of all, it took over three hours to assemble. I got passed that. The right pedal/rods immediately started squeaking with the first use and it felt kind of clunky. I sprayed a little TD-40 on it and that seemed to take care of it.The next day, during my second use, it started squeaking again and, within 10 minutes, the rod completely snapped off!Smh...I called Marcy. They were not help. I called Amazon and set up a return/refund. Amazon was great. No issues with them.

Great rehab bike after knee replacement surgery
This Marcy recumbent bike has really helped my recovery after having knee replacement surgeries and MUA on both knees! After being wheelchair-bound for many years and not having much, if any, flexion, it was crucial to get my knees moving after surgery.I'm on this bike for 10 minutes, 3-4 times a day, and it actually feels good to get that circular motion going to relax my stiff knees. In the beginning, I really needed the moving arms of the bike to help my legs pedal since my flexion was limited, but now my legs can do it on its own. The seat is a bit firm which is fine for me but may be uncomfortable for some. While I definitely notice the different tension levels, my husband didn't really notice a huge difference from the lowest to the highest level. It's my therapy bike anyways. :)I've been using the bike for about 6 months now. The one thing I make sure to do is to periodically check and tighten some bolts. Marcy customer service was also really helpful when I had some questions.

Great bike
Great exercising bike but only downfall. It makes a lot of noise like squeaking, scratching noise from where the wheel area is new out of the box.

exercise bike
The bike arrived well packaged and was not difficult to assemble. After two sessions of use, about 30 minutes total, the wheel system became extremely difficult to pedal before freezing up and becoming unusable. Amazon was great with their addressing the problem.

Great recumbent bicycle
Update 6/2/2022 Still riding my bicycle and loving it. It was worth the money.I purchased this because I can’t walk outside in the winter or the rain and my Ortho doctor highly recommended it. No stress on my back or knees (both knees replaced in 2020). I ride everyday. Sometimes I use the arms and sometimes I don’t. They keep moving regardless but not an issue. Be sure to lay everything out before assembling. It takes a bit but can be done without problems. Best exercise equipment I’ve ever purchased. I ride everyday and sometimes twice a day. I turn the TV on or get on my IPad and the time flies. Love this bicycle!Update 12/6/21 I’m in PT and the Therapist is quite pleased that I have this bicycle.
