Standing Support Cane Handle

I have three different size canes and this device does not fit any of them. It was ether too big or too small. It needs to be made to somehow ADJUST to any size cane rod.

I recently had a stroke. Physical Theripist taught me to walk again with a cane. This standing support absolutely does make it easier and safer to stand with the cane as support.

The handle does not fit standard folding or adjustable walking canes. My wife subsequently purchased a cane with the support handle built in.

Impossible to install.

Provides just the right balance to help when standing up.

This handle didn't fit on my cane, so I must not have a "standard" size (it's from the Hugo company). While I can't speak to its usefulness or durability because I never got to try it, the product is exactly as pictured and felt like it was made of sturdy plastic. The handle was easy to grip, and the hardest part of my failed installation was getting the base of my cane off to slide the accessory on. I love my cane, so I won't be purchasing a new one to use with the handle now, but it's an innovative idea that I'll try again in the future if I switch to a compatible cane.

Other reviews told of difficulty with too tight a fit to mounton cane. I found the same problem, but rolled piece of courseemery cloth into tube and enlarged the inner diameter of the plasticshim slightly. Then use a little soap and water lubricant and gotgood fit to cane.The lower handle helps me to get up from seat.
