stylish pair
Appear well made, quality leather and good grip on the sole. Not sure how water resistant the leather may be, wore it several times in rain and snow and feet weren't wet. Comfortable.

Great boots, very durable and comfortable
Worth it! Very comfortable and durable. I just added the transparent Ecco leather protector to ensure these last. I hope it works as the soles of these boots are built better than all!

ECCO Men's Jamestown Mid Chukka Boot - Excellence in Shoe Making
I have had several ECCO shoes in the past and I was always very happy with them. I had a pair of ECCO Track Low's that lasted 10 years! The uppers are still in great condition. Recently I was in the market for a Chukka boot when I found the ECCO Jamestown Mid Chukka Boot. The quality of this shoe is outstanding. The craftsmanship is excellent. The materials are top quality. Although it has a Vibram style sole, it is a very light-weight shoe. The sole is ECCO branded and made with a less dense rubber than the Vibram sole. This is one of those shoes that is so well designed and so perfectly hand crafted that it is a work of art. Unfortunately for me, the shoe does not fit and I am returning it. I must have misunderstood the sizing description. The size read 11 - 11.5 (or 45 European). My feet are 11 inches long and I thought the 11.5 would work. In any case, If you have a 11 inch foot order the 12 - 12.5 size and you should be fine.

Outstanding boot but runs one size too big
This boot like all Ecco products are comfortable and tough and durable while fashionable. IMPORTANT : They run an entire size too large. I wear 12s but had to exchange for 11s. I’ve never had to do this but they definitely run too large in American sizes

Great value
I am a loyal Ecco consumer. I own a pair of brown Ecco chukka boots that are fully waterproof, but quite costly at $200+. While not fully waterproof, these boots are a great value at under $100 and fit & look great.

They look really good but don’t fit well
I am a big Ecco fan, had multiple shoes over the years. These look great but we’re a little to big. I usually get 11.5 US but these were way to big. Got the 10 and they just didn’t fit right. My feet and ankles were in pain, had to return them.

Read the size reviews
These are beautiful and as comfortable as I’ve ver worn. Like most Ecco shoes the size is all over the map. I’m a 12 in Nike adidas and under armour and a size 44/10-10.5 in these boots. I still can wear a boot sock with room. I like plenty of room and for my toes not to be jammed in any way. I have 5 pairs of Ecco sneakers and they for the most part are consistent, size 45 which is a 11-11.5. These boots run big so size down. The leather is soft and broken in out of the box. Just size down at least 1.5 sizes.

Underrated pair of shoes
The leather quality is top notch, a little bit wide but that’s perfect.Overall, in terms of quality and comfort, that just an amazing shoe.

Expectations Well and Truly Exceeded
I am a bit over 50yo and I have probably owned a grand total of five or six pairs of boots during my life. This is a very small number of boots given I grew up where we consistently had snow cover during the winter. I have worn each pair of those boots, maybe, a maximum of three or four times each before chucking them out even though they were all 'good quality' boots and in excellent shape. I found that the slip-on boots quickly became loose, the ones with many eyelets took me forever to put on and take off and the ones with only a few eyelets never really felt they were on quite right. I can also say they were all uniformly pretty uncomfortable, particularly when you consider I would rather have cold, wet, feet in freezing temperatures then wear those boots. That really should tell you something. Anyway a few years back I moved to a place in country Victoria, Australia. Although it is not quite as wet and as cold as where I grew up, I do often end up traipsing through sodden fields and forests. Early onset senility must have begun to set in, because, after having wasted so much money boots in the past, I thought it would be a good idea to waste some more money on a new pair I would hate. After spending what seemed like a week on the internet looking at boots 24/7, I finally settled on a pair of ECCO Jamestown Hydromax Chukka's. Simply put, they are unbelievably comfortable, such that they have only come off when I have showered or slept. This is despite having more than half-a-dozen more appropriate and expensive pairs of shoes/slippers for whatever it was I was doing at the time for which boots really the footwear for the job. I really can not recommend these boots highly enough.

Good deal for a pair of Ecco boots
Very comfortable, fit just as expected. A very good deal for a pair of decent ecco boots. If you are a first time buyer of ecco boots, be sure to go to the physical store to try out the size. Ecco boots tends to be bigger than other brands.
