Q: I have an Apple pencil that can be used with this screen protector?

Because the tip of the Apple pencil is a rubber head, it is estimated to have an effect on the apple nib.It's even better if you have a stylus with a metal head that works with a paperlike screen protector.

Q: Have you found that it gets smoother after a lot of use? Mine is smoother in the areas I use the most but still rough in the edges I don’t use.

I've had mine since October 30th of 2019, and I use most of the 9.7" surface for at least two hours each day, seven days each week. I've not noticed any changes or smoothness. I am drawing and lettering on mine as well as writing in a digital planner. I am not covering large areas with pen strokes or brush strokes, nor am I repetitively working for hours at a time in one area, but in terms of overall surface use, I do that and haven't had issues with the texture changing.

Q: Do I need to remove existing tempered glass and stick this film directly on the ipad screen?

In my opinion, I think the film will stick well on the tempered glass as well. If the tempered glass has any scratches, I would remove the glass and place the screen protector directly on the screen. This screen protector does not provide the protection that tempered glass would but if you use an Apple Pencil then this slightly rough surface would work for you. I like it. It’s quite reasonable too when compared to the competition.

Q: Can you use this screen protector on top of another one?

It is recommended to use paperlike screen protector alone. It may appear thick if applied together.
