These things work. My mother in law has used these to hold heavy decorative plates for 5 or 6 years and they are just now starting to peel.

Bought to hang for some old plates on the wall. Product works alright. A couple of them didn’t stick after 30-60 days after I followed the instructions.

These work very well to hang my English plates on the wall. I used to use the metal spring holders but these are much better and won’t damage the plates.

I first applied via the instructions but found too much adhesive was removed. Here is what worked for me. I first clean the back of the plate. I then run the plate under warm water to make sure the back of the plate is wet. Next, I run the plate anger under warm water. I lay the plate hanger in the palm of my hand and rub two fingers over the adhesive side until nice and gooey. One time is enough. Apply the gooey side of the plate hanger to the back of the wet plate and press with your fingers from the center outward. I do this for about 30 or more seconds. I should feel flat to the plate. No need to do anything else. Let it sit overnight. I have used this process on heavy plates for over 10 years and there are no signs of coming loose.
