The unit works well, and is a brilliant alternative, to a standard ‘peephole’!BUT, the camera unit is not small! You can’t tell the scale of it, from the advert, but if you look at my pic, you’ll see it’s not a subtle replacement.Also, the smallest bolt / screw for fitting, is far too long for a standard (UK) front door.I was about to return mine, the day it arrived, but managed to find a suitable bolt / screw, in a pot of spares. Be prepared to hunt for your own fixings, or to cut down a supplied bolt!In summary, a great product, but could cause you a headache to fit!

The media could not be loaded.  As I live at the end of a high street and tend to get random drunk people banging on my door every now and then, I decided to try this product not really having faith, as I felt it was a bit on the cheap side but couldn’t really folk out the expense for CCTV.To my surprise, it is a very handy tool, motion detection, night vision and it also stores the recording until you delete it. You can also rewind and watch the video back.Really worth the money for what it does.. I was quite impressed with it and a lot happier about answering my door.I had to get a friend to install it so just to be aware that unless your handy with a drill, it’s probably not something you would want to do yourself, but I have it on good authority that it was quite easy to install once the hole was drilled into the door.

If you are looking to upgrade your security witout the messing about of linking a mobile phone and apps this is the answear, very easy to install as it fits directly into old peephole , you may need to file the hole a little bigger and I found I had to cut the fixing bolt down to fit the depth of my door, this didnt take long and installed ready to use in 5 minutes, very easy to use, looks good and people can tell it is a camera whhich can in itself be a deterent.

It's solid built and easy to install. Battery life is good and chime is easy loud enough for a normal sized house/apartment.Picture quality is fine, but you will need external lighting for night viewing. Over all it does the job it was built for and better than a spy hole alone.
