This is the newer style jeep cap that is longer, more like a toboggan with a brim, not the old school Radar O'Reilly cap that was meant to be a helmet liner. The extra length makes it a more functional hat, even if it does not look exactly correct to those of us with gray hair. I wear a large or extra large motorcycle helmet depending on the brand, and this fits fine. It's a little itchy, because it's made of the type of material you get when you pay $15 instead of the material you get when you pay $50. The extra length compared to the older jeep caps means that it is double layer over more of the sides and back of your head when it is folded up, or it covers more of your ears and neck when it is unfolded, which is good or bad depending on what you want.

Husband was happy with Gi cap. Fit good. Good quality. Hope it lasts as long as his old one.

Good quality nice hat maybe a little too much fabric on top of hat. Other wise very good.

I keep one in the house and one in each car. They are great to keep your head warm when doing things outside in the winter. I like the brim that helps keep the sun out of your eyes.

He said it kept his head extremely warm. Washed it and was still in good shape.

This cap will provide clear view while wearing unlike visorless "toboggans" that creep down over your eyes when wearing. I have bought several. They are warm and perform well.

The beanie was great at first. It keeps my head warm and it fit great. I washed it in cold water and when I went to hang it up to dry the beanie shrank a lot. It's still wearable but it doesn't cover my ears anymore.
