This charger is a pretty good charger in all, but it does not charge as fast as i would have liked but for me it doesnt really affect me that much because i just charge my batteries overnight while im asleep and when i wake up they are all charged, so i dont really have any problem with it but other people may not like the charging speed of it. It doesnt feel cheap, you can tell the charger is quality, so i am giving this a 5 star review because the slower charging speed does not really affect me as long at it charges the batteries fully by the time that i wake up. It gets 5 stars from me, i have had it for about a week now and it seems to work very well and im glad i chose nitecore. It has openings in it too so the charger doesnt get hot I also love how the screen shows how charged the batteries are, how long they have been charging for, and the mAh that they are charging at. The charging wire seems like it would be very hard to break.Pros:-Seems to be a good quality product-Sturdy cable-Holds batteries securely in place-Has barely noticeable openings in the back so it prevents it from getting hot-Screen shows how charged your selected battery is-Screen shows how long your selected battery has been charging-Screen shows what mAh your selected battery is being charged at-Works very nice and my batteries now hold a longer charge than they used to-Only 30 dollarsCons:-Charges a bit slow (this does not bother me at all but it may bother others so i added it to this for other people just so they know more about what they are purchasing)All in all, this 4 bay nitecore battery charger goes beyond my standards and it shows me more about the battery and it seems to charge the batteries carefully at a safe mAh for the selected battery. I really do like this charger a lot and i really like how safe it is, you can trust this charger with your batteries if you plug it in before you go to sleep, it doesnt get hot, it charges your batteries at the safest mAh for it, and it automatically stops charging after 24 hours of leaving batteries in the charger while plugged in so it prevents it from getting too hot. This charger is great for the price, if you are in need of a battery charger that is good quality with a good price then i would definetly recommend this charger to anyone. This is my second Nitecore D4 Charger, not because there is anything wrong with the first one, just wanted another universal charger that I know is reliable. I was able to verify the charger as genuine by the scratch off # to the Nitecore web site, that also activates the warranty. Would recommend to friends and family.

Great battery charger for household rechargeables. I've used cheaper battery chargers that left me unsure if my batteries really were fully charged. This unit charges each battery individually and tells you the status of the charge while it’s in progress. Other charges usually charge batteries in pairs which can cause problems if one of the batteries is more depleted than the other. One battery gets fully charged which causes the charging to stop... leaving the other battery's charge incomplete. Anyway, the Nitecore charger allows you to fully charge each battery without concern. Very nice charger.

I loved the charger - as long as it worked.However, it failed after 5 months of use.NightCore states that it has a 12 month warranty.I wrote to them and they told me to return it to Amazon for replacement.Problem is that Amazon's return window closed on Jan 31, 2019.The alternative NightCore proposed was to send the failed charger back to them in China - at my cost - and await a replacement.I love the product; but I hate the Customer Di-service!After this, I cannot recommend any NightCore product.

Got the wrong charger. 2 stars because the wrong item works.

Works well for both home use as well as on the road. I really appreciate the fact that I can change the input wattage to a lower setting when I don’t need a rapid charge.

This thing charged two 3000mAH 18650s in an hr from 20% my other 2 chargers took 6 to 8 hrs, so far worth the money if you want an nice looking charger

One of the best and most flexible chargers out there. Brought back to life other batteries that cheaper chargers just could not handle.
