The main reason I bought this light is the fact that the control switch is built into the cable and has easy accessibility. Most of the other models have controls on the light itself which can be awkward to use.The Control switch has a background light so you can see the control buttons even in the dark. The range of light is the usual Warm White, White and Combined, with various levels of Brightness. I have found that warm white and half brightness is perfect to light my desktop at night. The fixing that clips the light to the monitor is quite sturdy and spring loaded. I liked this light so I decided to get one for my other monitor. This monitor has a curved screen and when I came to fit the light I found that it was loose due to the curve of the back. Then I notice there was a built in adhesive strip in the jaws. Once I had removed the strip cover the light now sits firmly in place. I use the spare USB connectors on my pc to power the lights.Good Value for the price

I was looking for something decent to light up the keyboard so decided to buy this one. It won't stand on the desk as the light is too heave, however sitting on the top of the monitor gives great light on minimum settings! I also like that it's got a memory, so when I charge it from pc usb it turns on and off to the same settings I used last time every time I turn pc on. Also adhesive is good and sits perfectly on top of the 34inch xiomi curved monitor. Definitely recommend!

This is an incredibly good product, representing exceptional value for money!This product is brilliant for working in poorly lit environments or working at night. My girlfriend suffers badly from migraines and this downlight really helps. I would argue that for the price, this is a must buy for any hole office. It performs the same job as many high end alternative at a fraction of the price!

Purchased to go on top of new, wall-mounted and curved monitor. Fits great on top of the monitor perfectly fine and I can have my webcam on top of that too. I used cable tidy sticky thingys to run the cable out of the way of the fancy-pants lighting behind the monitor. However, it wasn't until I started using it that I realised that the buttons also then have to go behind the monitor which isn't ideal. If I had realised that I would have opted for another product with the switch on the top of the light. Good brightness though, good options in terms of warmth and brightness too. Just a shame about that flippin' switch position!

I suffer with dry eye if I spend too much time looking at a screen (forgetting to blink is an issue!), so bought backlighting for the TV and this for the computer monitor on the advice of the optician. Both have made a HUGE difference and if you suffer with dry eye or blepharitis can highly recommend this for computer use. There are several different settings so you can choose which suits you best.

This light strip was a bargain. I needed something that would brighten up my desk whilst working in dim light and this light did not disappoint. It warm/ warmer and cool lighting along with a variety of dim to bright settings. I prefer the cool light personally, but there are plenty of combinations to choose from. The build quality is excellent and I'm thoroughly pleased. I've attached photos to demonstrate the benefits of having such a light.

To be honest the design of this product is poor. Using a sticky pad to adhere to the casing of the monitor is bad. First the monitor back is a stippled surface limiting the adhesion to the back, second its curved so despite their claim in the product blurb that it will fit a curved monitor is simply not true.The LED quaility is good, and the control is simple to use and also remembers your last setting when you remove power and later switch back on. That's useful.Overall the electronic bits (LED) and the anti glare design are OK, but the product is so badly let down by the amateurish attachment system. I've used it on my workdesk as a shelf light so not a completely wasted purchase but not up to the job for a monitor unless your monitor has a perfectly rectangular smooth back and a decent size screen bezel.
