Good multicast information and Cisco router configuration, but no specific Linux or host (client) configuration information.
Good information regarding multicast, but the book is has mostly only examples of Cisco router config and information, with NO discussion or examples regarding popular hosts like Linux. The troubleshooting section is also weak IMHO.

Very informative
Very thorough read of ip multicast — all steak, no sizzle or fat, concise. Very good book to use for learning and as a technical reference. Provided configuration advice for IOS XE, XR, and NX-OS.
