An excellent accessory that works great.
First off I would like to clarify something from the description. The connector from the device to the tablet is an 11-pin Micro-B USB 2.0 while the port on the side is for 21-pin Micro USB 3.0 cables for charging (like what comes with the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone and the Note Pro/Tab Pro 12.2 tablets). This port is in addition to the two full sized USB ports included on the device. It is not necessary to have a charger plugged into the device to use it. However, it should be noted that if you plug in a Micro USB cable from a computer to the device, and the device to the tablet, it will only charge the tablet and not connect it to the computer for transferring files (or whichever setting the tablet is configured for). Now that that is out of the way, the device itself works great. The connector fits very securely into the tablet without being difficult to remove when you're done. The ethernet configuration is quick and simple and using ethernet can vastly improve app performance for those apps that use a network connection extensively (particularly if the available WiFi isn't the greatest) . I have not yet tried out using a mouse and keyboard through the USB connectors but I did plug in my 16gb USB stick and it immediately opened up Samsung's "My Files" application with the stick listed as another storage device along with the internal storage and the MicroSD card (if one is present). Overall I can see that I will be getting a lot of use out of this even if only for the ethernet port and with the right set-up may even replace my laptop.

Works great. It's a bit large.
Works great for Ethernet. But WiFi 802.1 ac works just about as fast as my Gigabit ethernet. So you may not need it. USB ports work fine. It's a bit big. If you just want to plug in a flash drive then get a USB OTG (On The Go) adapter. An OTG adapter is more compact than this hub and works with all smartphones and tablets that support OTG.

Great idea, poor execution/performance...
Unfortunately it didn't have very good performance... my wireless outperforms it. Also it apparently must have the original Samsung connector for my galaxy note 12.2 plugged in for the LAN connection to work at all... I don't use it anymore, very expensive for poor performance... 100Mbit just doesn't cut it anymore... it's performance on my gigabit network was not very good at all, as stated my wireless connection consistently performed far better...

Great for a Galaxy Note Pro 12.2
This is the only USB OTG adapter that I have seen that can charge my Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. The ones that OTG+charge my Galaxy Note 8.0, S5, and S3 all refuse to charge my GNP12.2 :(. Sadly it only maintains the charge like a trickle but it beats draining. While it's plugged in I can also use Screen Mirroring and an AllShare Cast dongle to do video out (slow drain rather than maintaining charge). Stick a Ethernet cable, USB keyboard, and mouse in the hub, and pretty much avoid issues like a Bluetooth mouse and Screen Mirroring == laaagggyy.

Worked with my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12. 2 ...
Worked with my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2.Connects with micro USB. I've validated that Ethernet works. It improved my performance slightly with SimCity Buildit.USB dongles work as well. Maintains a trickle charge, but I've still noticed that I ran out of power after almost a full day's of usage playing Simcity Buildit.Gets a little warm.On my Samsung Galaxy Edge, the USB OTG mass storage function works, but the Ethernet does not.The Note edge also reports charging while connected.I have not tested a USB keyboard or mouse yet.

Not sure if it's OEM but it does have Samsung logo and again does work great.
Works flawlessly 4 stars only because of the cheap build. Not sure if it's OEM but it does have Samsung logo and again does work great.

This works GREAT! Just what i wished I could do but ...
My question is this, why doesn't e vendor tell you about this when you buy the tablet? This works GREAT! Just what i wished I could do but didn't thing it was possible. I use tmobile broadband but when i hook this to my comcast cable modem via ethernet, ' to the moon Alice ' and it reads my usb sticks with no effort at all. USB 2 and usb 3. With this, i will not hesitate buying my wife a tablet.
