The the wood raw or finished with a clear coat? I want to stain it darker, but I’m wondering how much sanding I’ll need to do.

Is this hand strong enough to hold a game controller?

To be honest, I never tried to use it for game controller,but I think since the weight of the controller with batteries exceeds the weight of the hand, it may be unstable to hold the controller. But I might be wrong, so it is worth giving a try, in any case it may come handy for holding plenty of other light weight stuff. Hope it helps :)

Would this be able to fold and hold a pair of headphones without the fingers opening back up?

The fingers do stay in place when you pose them but I’m not sure it would be able to grip a pair of headphones unless they had a very thin headband and were super light?

Perfect for an artist!

My son uses this hand to practice drawing and it is awesome! It's a realistic size, is sturdy and can go into differnt positions ! It looks nice as well it's not cheap plastic but sturdy and stable wood! The movements are easy but not loose they hold to their position and form creating a great performance for anyone of any age or at any artistic level! I recommend this one it's cheaper then getting it at an art store for sure !

The fingers only go forward and back, not sideways (eg you can’t make a peace sign)

And it’s tasty to dogs. The hand lasted 4 days before our dog shredded it up. And our dog doesn’t really chew things except for sticks.
