I have been waiting to splurge on this humidifier for about a year now. I’m so glad we did with baby on the way. Very easy to clean and keep sterile. We do use a Britta water filter container to fill with each time as recommended by the instructions. Super easy to use and last all night long. Highly recommend purchasing and I’ve also recommended this to a couple other friends of ours, who are also pleased with their purchase. It is a bit expensive, but definitely worth it for the longevity of a humidifier.

After 3 1/2 months of good operation suddenly.....no mist. Contacted customer support which is only available by email, no phone number, and they asked for a video to be sent. I did that and included other pics of the unit not creating any mist. They shipped me a new oscillator which did not fix the problem, still no mist at any level. I sent them a new video showing the installation of the new oscillator, a very simple plug in task. I asked customer support to send a complete new Carepod unit and a prepaid shipping label to return the old one. They sent a link for the order number to be put in and since I purchased the unit from Amazon (with a $20 discount) they said they could not work directly with me even though I sent them a copy of the paid Amazon receipt. Initially they said the unit was also back ordered and would not ship until April because of all the shipping and trucking delays at this time. They suggested I contact their 3rd party reseller via Amazon. I could not find them on Amazon.The unit was purchased mid October 2021 with a one year warranty. Amazon's return policy on this unit ended on January 31, 2022, 3 1/2 months after the unit was purchased. I then contacted Amazon customer service and even though it took two phone calls Amazon was willing to give me a one time exception on a refund directly back to my original form of payment. Thank you for that Amazon.This Carepod humidifier was the quietest, easy to clean, without bright or night light interference for sleeping and best looking of any humidifier on the market at the time I purchased it. Too bad the unit stopped working and their customer support did not measure up. Why would it matter where I purchased the unit, it was clearly their product and clearly they did not want to stand behind the product warranty of one year.None of the electronics that make this unit operate are accessible so it's impossible for anyone with a mini screwdriver and a little ambition to look deeper into the reason for the units failing as I have seen so many YouTube videos on humidifier repair.Any company without telephone support for their products???? Buyer beware!Really to bad. The doctor who invented this humidifier had a great thing going but the lack of customer support and standing behind their product is not going to make the company last long.

Exactly as advertised. Very easy to clean, which was the biggest feature for me. Also produces a lot of steam. This is good for a large space. Completely silent, easy to use, and really makes a difference in sleep quality!

What’s not to love about it?- A toddler could put it together and clean it. It’s that simple to use and the filter is tiny and easy to clean with water.- The size and design is clean and refreshing and I’m happy to present it in any room.- I’m not worried that my family is breathing in mold or mildew bc the stainless steel tank is amazing.- It is ridiculously quiet and even soothing.All boxes checked!! ✅

I bought 3 of these over a year back. I was really impressed with how sustainable the model appeared and was sold as some humidifiers are generally cheap but difficult to clean and maintain. Extra cost for the sale of sustainability is good by me as I already contribute enough waste.I immediately had, and still have, frequent issues with water filling the chamber outside the pot on all three units (dangerous since this chamber feeds an electrical opening.After A LOT of back and forth they finally shipped me replacement silicone seals and 2 replacement oscillators (note: communication is on email because you can’t speak on phone with them so this takes a long time with them).Important: their coverage is 1 year.One machine was not working correctly about 1.25 years in. It is very loud and what was water rich air is now that mixed with some weird chemical odor you can taste. They provided no clarity of the issue (i provided recordings) and said i could buy another.Tldr;The humidifier is expensive, prone to issues, CS isn’t helpful, and the machine doesn’t separate itself from cheaper options in any meaningful way. It’s expensive for the sake of.

We think the fact that it is stainless steel is amazing, but it would work better in a large area. I put it in my sons room when he was feeling sick and it got the entire floor wet. I wish I could turn down the humidity just a little.
