very good rockabilly music. sleepy never received the credit he deserves.

i'm loathe to give 5 stars to anything, but this one comes close (5 stars would be seeing sleepy in person, dancing your butt off 5 feet from him). imho almost all music (rocakbilly, classical, blues, zydeco...) is best heard live. this is a live cd that captures as much of sleepy's hard driving guitar and booming baritone as possible on cd. i highly recommend both the cd and seeing sleepy live (as close as possible).

If ya like ta Boogie Woogie this is a great cd ta get down and do it. He does a good job on remakes especially the song Gunslinger if ya ever heard Bo Diddley. The songs are all good to listen to over & over again.

Propably the best cd. A live recording available in 33 rpm or in cd. If you are buying a Sleepy La Beef cd, you must absoluty choose this one. Incredible opera baryton voice going to to honky tonk country, so really r ' roll.
