One of the coolest looking cases iv seen in a while!
My first complaint is that there is no phone based support for the United States. I build and repair PC for a living so phone based support is very important to me. I want to know that if I have an issue I can call someone and know that my issue is being resolved right away. I was only able to find an email for DeepCool and this was not cool. This case comes with a liquid cooler so if it failed how will the support be by dealing with an issue via email? I just feel that email is not very personable but I guess only time will tell and hopefully I will not never have to use the support. My first case arrived damaged and this was when I realized there was no phone based support. The item was shipped in the retail packaging and not shipped in a box like Amazon normally does. (box within a box). The case came well packaged and used the more expensive cushioning foam but nevertheless the case was still damaged. This is the main reasons I purchase via Amazon over New Egg any day of the week. Amazon refunded my money same day and I was able to replace my order right away. The new case arrives very quickly. Kudos to Amazon! However, once I seen the case I absolutely fell in love with it. The is honestly one of the best-looking cases I have ever seen.Pros/Cons- Build Quality – The case is in the category of corsair or IN-Win. The case is very well built and the cut outs are very well thought out. I have dealt with some horrible cases before like the Kron GS6005 by Sentey that used very cheap material. I am here to confirm that build quality is not something you have to worry about on this case.- Design Pros – The Design is very well thought out. There are several cut outs in the case to easily hide all the wires. The feet are screwed in and have soft foam on them. The liquid cooler is obviously built in and came shipped pre-assembled into the case.- Design Cons – The radiator fans have white led that cannot be turned off. The side of the case has a button to turn the Helix LEDs on or off. It would have been nice if DeepCool would have included the fan LED’s on the same switch to turn off all the lights. It kind of sucks for those of you who plan on putting this in the same room you sleep in. The Helix LED is not very bright either and can only be seen in complete darkness. It just does not make since why they included a light switch to only turn off the front helix led that can hardly be seen anyway. I was also kind of bummed that this case did not include tool less hard drive carriers. The HDD cage is held in by two thumb screws and has to be forced out. It doesn’t feel cheap or anything and they actually include eight hdd screws, but the design is kind of old school but now I’m just being picky. The case has “Gamer Storm” letters on the power supply cover and on the front but they are not visible and should have been painted white. This is nice case and I would be proud to sport the branding but it is hardly visible. The front Gamer storm branding has a chrome plated sticker that fell off the first day while whipping off my finger prints. Again, I would have preferred it be painted in vs a sticker or not painted at all.- Installation Pros – Install was easy and required very little reading on my part. I have built a lot of machines so I am aware of what screws go where, I can mount a CPU cooler with ease and install a motherboard blindfolded but for those that are first time builders don’t worry DeepCool has you covered. DeepCool actually included several screws and labeled them in individual zip bags as well as included instructions. Making it easy for first time builders so even a newbie could do it. They also included a onetime use thermal compound tube for the CPU. It came with actual removable PCI filer panels for ALL PCI slots and several zip ties were included. Although I saved and used all the wire ties that were holding in the CPU and Screw boxes. I used them instead of the zip ties.- Installation Cons – The motherboard CPU cut out was a little too small and covers the top screw holes on the motherboard. Be sure to mount the CPU brackets to the motherboard before mounting your motherboard into the case. Luckily, I seen a YouTuber make this mistake so I was able to save some time by doing this beforehand.- Aesthetics Pros – The case is very cool looking hands down. It is a must to add 3rd party LED’s to really let the helix reservoir shine. I added a third-party LED light strip and it made the helix look awesome. In certain lighting the helix actually looks black while other lighting it looks clear or red. This case also included a PCI-E riser cable for mounting your video card sideways. I put a MSI 1050 TI red/black video card in this machine and the card looks bad A@! mounted sideways. I also added red /black mobo to complete the black and red theme and couldn’t be happier. The CPU block has a LED light on it that has a breathing effect that also looks freaking amazing!- Aesthetics Cons - The black case with red helix is kind of hard to see. I had to tape a piece of white printer paper behind the helix so that you could actually see it. The CPU block has a breathing effect that cannot be turned off or set to stay on vs a breathing effect. The LED also seems to be controlled by fan RPM’s. The slower the RPM seems to make the breathing affect rapid and barely noticeable while during heavy load and high RPM the breathing effect is slower and more noticeable. I set me radiator fans unnecessarily to 50% just so that the block led would be noticeable at idle.- Performance - The liquid cooler is super quite even under 100% load. I was actually very supervised on how quite these fans were out of box. Corsair’s included liquid cooler fans are annoying loud as are most other liquid cooling fans. I have yet to purchase any liquid cooler that has quite fans out of the box this quiet. Excluding arctic liquid freezer, those fans are actually pretty quiet too but other companies like Corsair, Lepa, NZXT, and Thermaltake all ship with loud fans under heavy loads. I have an FX 8300 CPU that has been overclocked to 4.6 with ease and keeping my temps under 50c under load. I am very happy with the liquid cooler.Overall I am very happy with the case and will recommend this case to my customers. My major concern is that there is no phone based support but who knows maybe their email support is very responsive. A case of this build WITHOUT the liquid cooler could easily go for $100-130 and the liquid cooler could easily go for 100-130 as well plus the helix reservoir for $100. It actually a pretty good deal for an all in one package that is maintenance free closed loop liquid cooling solution. Good job DeepCool I am very impressed with this case. Please include the option for a glass side panel that would really top this case off!

Nice case and cooler for the price.
I'm pretty happy with this case, but at the price point it might be buyers confirmation. I was in the market for an Ethnoo Luxe, but I'm actually kind of glad I didn't go with that after hearing some not good things about how it works with liquid cooling. This is also a case not everyone has, so that's nice. For the pros, it's big, easy to work with, fairly unique, and provides really good cooling for the CPU. For the cons, I agree the leds for the helix reservoir could stand to be brighter and always on as opposed to pulsing. This will be fixed, I'm my situation, by running a 240mm radiator with white fans in the area behind the helix. I'm going to run an AIO cooler for my gpu in that area. The side panel doesn't leave much room for cable management, but there is plenty of room in the PSU cage to tuck things away. One thing that bothered me is that the PCIe riser card and cable doesn't seem to be working. I'm going to mail DeepCool and see if I can get a replacement, as I'd like to see my 290x with the G10 and AIO standing up in the window. All in all, this is a pretty great case that allows for a really nice build. Heck, a helix like the one included can run over 50 bucks by itself. The Captain360 cooler is about $130 by itself. Add in the cost of a well made case and the price is well justified.NOTE: FOR SOME REASON AMAZON IS BUNDLING THE REVIEWS FOR THE GENOME II WITH ANOTHER CASE. THE DEEPCOOL TESSERACT. THE TESSERACT IS A $40 BUDGET CASE. IT IS NOT THE GENOME II.Edit: as of 8/21/2017 I am still mostly happy with this case. DeepCool did acknowledge the PCIE riser card that came with the case as not working, and promptly sent me a new one after a few back and forth emails. One problem I have noticed is that, like many cases, the Genome 2 is shipped with fans that seem less than stellar. I would suggest to those of us interested in OCing to pick up some better aftermarket fans, at least for the Captain 360 radiator. Other than that, perhaps in the future DeepCool could find more room for the 2.5 trays in back. While 2 trays is nice, between the trays and the M2 slots on my mobo I can only support 4TB in SSD storage. While that SHOULD be enough for anyone, games are starting to get into the 70-100GB range. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to have 4 trays as opposed to 2 is all. There is plenty of space to do so. Another thing that would be nice is offering a different side panle for those of us that choose to make use of the the vertical PCI riser. With the current acrylic window there is very little room for airflow in this configuration. Possibly a window with a 240mm screen or grill centered over the GPU would alleviate this problem.

This is a great deal for what you get
This is a great deal for what you get, you could easily pay this much or more for such a nice, massive CPU water cooler setup. The problem with this case, is that you don't really have control of the lighting. The front helix, even when it is lit up, doesn't light up very much. It has small white light strips on the left and right side of the helix, that only light up when the fan is running at full speed, and even then they always pulse, there is no other setting. The CPU light is the same way, only white color, only operates at full fan speed, and always pulses.I couldn't figure out why the lights didn't work at all, until I went into the bios and cranked the fans up to full speed. If you run the fans at a normal lower speed, where it automatically adjusts the speed according to temps, they are nice and quiet. If they run full speed though, they're a bit noisy. The 3 big fans on the radiator have white lights which are always on and don't change in intensity, again no controls.I would have been happy to pay a little more for the same case with a little more lighting controls. I still gave it 4 stars because everything else is done right. It's a heavy, sturdy case that includes a MASSIVE CPU water cooled setup with 3 fans, radiator, and helix included in the low price. If you don't care about the lighting limitations I mentioned, this is a great case at a great price.

Excellent box - please change the buttons :P
After assembling this box I have some comments:1) Excellent choice of integrated water cooling on the box. It will just work out of the box.2) The instructions are not clear at all. Fortunately you can find a video of assembling the box in youtube from Genome so at least you know where everything goes.3) Not very heavy4) I expected the front tube to be illuminated. That is not the case. There are just led on the sides of the tube that pulse. Still looking good but not what you see on the pictures.5) I still haven't found out what is the difference between Mark II and Mark I apart from having 2 less SSD bays.6) Looks REALLY good.7) Really quiet as well.My major complain are the Power and Reset buttons. They have no depth at all so you will push them by mistake at some point. They will be pressed even if you don't put any force. So if you like me need to move the box in order to connect cables on the back you will end up rebooting your PC by mistake. If they could do the Power and Reset buttons like the LED button on the side the box would be perfect.Apart for the buttons the box is excellent and I would definitely recommend it for new (and old) builds.

Una gran opción si sus limitaciones no nos afectan.
The media could not be loaded.
