This harness is very well made. My boy is harness trained and knows commands, so he is used to trying new things. This was no different - he previously had a step-in Rabitgoo harness and he upgraded to this one. Look how cute he is!!!For reference, he is 10 months old and I got a medium. Yes, it's loose. Will he slip out? No, because (1) I don't pull the leash towards his head like many owners do when harnessing their cat for the first time and (2) he is trained well.I haven't gotten too many pictures of him in his new harness, but I've added some of him in his carrier. The last photo (yellow harness) is his old harness for reference, so you can see just how much more freedom this gives my boy! His arms are no longer confined to small holes.

The media could not be loaded.  I am not easily impressed by cat harnesses. I have tried a bunch of them; conservatively 12 different styles, many of which claimed to be 'escape proof'. None of them were! This one, may come closer than anything I've previously experienced! Because it pulls from the girth rather than the neck or shoulders, with proper adjustment would be extremely difficult for the cat to escape. As with all harnesses, it offers the most control from behind. Additionally quite a bit of control from the side! Because of where the leash connects, my cat at least, is substantially less inclined to resist. It is very easy to put on, appears to be very comfortable for the cat to wear, and offers sufficient adjustments to fit the full range of cat sizes advertised. My cat comes close to maximizing the Medium size. He is 14.6 lbs, and measured 18" at the girth, 10" at the neck. I made no adjustments to the preset back strap. He likes it and I like it!!! Harness fit my big boy perfectly with plenty of room for adjustment. He doesn't mind wearing it much either. Sometimes he'll lick at it, but that's about it. Seems to be well made, and love the choice of patterns and colors. Now for the negatives. It does have a horrible smell when it arrives. I washed it a few times and the smell is mostly gone, but it's still there if you put your nose up to it. Secondly, it's not escape proof. Pretty much like every harness. If he backs up, he can easily get out of it. And it's adjusted to about finger width tightness in all areas. But overall, I'm happy with this harness.

I like the brightness of the harness and my cat seems very comfortable while wearing it. Escape proof it is not. The material on the harness is kind of stretchy. I appreciate that fact, because it means I don't have to worry about it choking my cat, which is what happened to my other cat a week ago with one of those harnesses that are nothing but thin strips that you can adjust.The harness arrived on Sunday. I used it starting that following Monday. This is Friday of the same week and my cat has gotten out of the harness three times so far. I watched him the last time to see exactly how he accomplished this. He takes his front paw and pushes it between his neck and the harness. Once he has one shoulder and leg out, he pulls the rest of the top part down to his mid section. From there he wiggles the harness down the rest of his body. He did it in minutes.

Got the glow in the dark yellow set and it is visible. A medium fits now at 1 yrs old and he is already long and big, there is still plenty of room for adjusting up to large! Well made.It Doesn’t come off !There must be an easier way to get it on him though lol .. I’ll figure it out.Great product.

The media could not be loaded.  It’s my cat’s first time in a harness, so he’s of course staying low as he gets a feel for it.The harness is hard to size while it’s on, but once it’s sized, it seems secure.He doesn’t go outdoors (not his choice), so we tested with a few tugs, even some slight pulls, checking the way the harness distributed the load. It seems to pull more from the belly than the neck, so I’m glad for that.Those results were tested outside five minutes later, when someone made a loud noise throwing something away. He got spooked and dashed, but since the leash was tangled on my fingers, and the harness works, Tex stayed right here, stopping at six feet.I look forward to using this so much that he starts bringing it to me when he wants to go out!

It's got multiple adjustment points, but it's a pain to get it to fit just right. Otherwise it's bright & comfortable & sturdy.I do wish it had a place to attach her tags, other than using the leash lock on her back.
