Gigabyte GCWBAX210-00-G PCIe WLAN card

Does what it says in the tin. Works well and was straight forwardish to install.I say straight forwardish because there is a female usb socket on the card that isn't mentioned in any documentation. I decided to plug a thumb drive into it cos' why the heck not and the pc recognised it. So it's a pass through for the usb_f that gets used by the card. Which for my machine was great as I didn't really want to lose my front panel usb or the usb connection my cooler uses.

Was not too difficult for me to do it by myself and the drivers too. I think still not performing 100% but maybe it is just the signal and nothing wrong with the card. Compare to my old one I receive three times more, so nothing to complain.

This item is a mixed bag....it can do 6ghz but only if you are running windows 11 and use the very latest driver from Intel ...the driver on Gigabyte website is old and unreliable...if you are using win10 you will not be able to run this WiFi card on the 6ghz band, it will be limited to 5ghz or lower....this is due to Microsoft limiting win10 capabilities to encourage you to swap over to win 11....but if you have win 11 get the latest AX210 driver from Intel website and enjoy 6ghz in its full glory.....bare in mind that even 6ghz is only as fast as your actual Internet so you may not get any speed improvement of 5ghz and its not good over a long distance so make sure you are near to your router.

Installation was relatively straightforward. But the Bluetooth connectivity is useless. Whenever the pc starts there's a good chance that the Bluetooth isn't recognised. This isn't isolated to my pc. There are many others who have the same issue. Sometimes unplugging and restarting fixes it. Sometimes it doesn't. I've stopped trying to fix it now. And the manufacturer website is useless.

As in the description is a wi-fi 6 pcie card !, good desing and decent anthena with magnetic bottom on it , easy drivers install from the offcial website , works as intended

très bon rapport qualité prix !cette carte réseau domestique est très complète et fonctionne parfaitement bien.installation très aisée sur un port PCIE,ne prend pas de place dans la tour et le driver est facile à trouver le site mais pas du tout nécéssaire sous Windows 10.cette marque n'a plus à faire ses preuves !

Garantisce una connessione stabile ed efficiente. Prima utilizzavo una chiavetta che si disconnetteva spesso, questa invece resta collegata sempre e non si disconnette proprio mai, anche la connessione Bluetooth, che prima il mio PC fisso non aveva, funziona alla grande. L'istallazione non è stata difficile anche perché è facile trovare su youtube dei video che la spiegano dettagliatamente. La scheda è di tipo PCI-E 1x ma può essere inserita tranquillamente anche su uno slot 16x (come nel mio caso). E' necessario istallare prima due drivers, uno per l'Wi-Fi e l'altro per il bluetooth, che si possono facilmente scaricare aggiornati dal sito di Intel. Questi due drivers si chiamano il primo "Windows 10 and Windows 11 Wi-Fi Drivers for Intel Wireless Adapters" e il secondo "Intel Wireless Bluetooth for Windows 10 and windows 11". Una volta installati i due drivers, basta inserire la scheda di rete in uno slot express della scheda madre e collegare il cavo usb a 9 pin, in dotazione da una parte alla scheda di rete e dall'altra alla scheda madre. E sia l'Wi-Fi che il Bluetooth funzionano subito

Kurz: Das WLAN Modul ist echt gut und bietet wirklich gute Leistung unter schwierigen Bedingungen.Ich habe eine sehr schwierige WLAN Situation und habe einiges versucht. 2 Wände, Kleiderschrank und ein Hamsterkäfig sind im Weg. Ich hatte ein Fitz Stick, welcher okay war, aber nur WLAN 802.11g kann. Die Verbindung war schwach. Ein kleiner TP Link Stick konnte zwar WiFi 4, aber der Empfang war sehr schlecht. Der größere TP Link Stick konnte zwar Wifi 5, aber die Verbindung war wackelig und ich bekam etwa 6-30 Mbit/s im Download. Der Upload war besser mit 20-100 Mbit/s. Aber oft war die Verbindung langsam. Mein Telefon hat aber an diesen Standort eine recht gute Verbindung geschafft. Also kaufte ich mir mal eine richtige WLAN-Karte.Diese Gigabyte-WLAN-Karte schafft in meinem Szenario 80-105 Mbit/s im Download und 80-130 Mbit/s im Upload. Die Verbindung ist sehr schnell und stabil. Außerdem ist es Plug an Play. Erklärt sich von selbst. Windows 11 hat das Teil sofort erkannt. Die Verarbeitung ist gut und durchdacht. Die WLAN Antenne ist gut verarbeitet und fällt nicht um und verrutscht nicht. Außerdem ist sie magnetisch.Bedenken sollte man, dass man für das WLAN Modul ein PCI Slot braucht. Also für Mini PCs, Laptops und viele ITX ist das Nichts.Also ich kann die WLAN-Karte empfehlen. Kostet etwas mehr, aber ist gut.
