Guilty as Sin: Uncovering New Evidence of Corruption and How Hillary Clinton and the Democrats Derailed the FBI Investigation

This review is not in support of Hillary Clinton as a presidential nominee, but an evaluation of the book itself
Please note that I have read this book in its entirety. This review is not in support of Hillary Clinton as a presidential nominee, but an evaluation of the book itself. I purchased this book as I wanted to understand the Hillary Clinton email scandal in more detail as well as any other revelations. I knew that Hillary was using her own personal email server at her home in Chappaqua, New York, but I did not really know all of the implications of what this meant. This book focuses on the email scandal, other past scandals as well as implications of political favors while she was Secretary of State.FBI director, James Comey stated Hillary was “extremely careless” in how she handled her emails while she was secretary of state. The FBI is worried that Clinton’s email may have been hacked which would compromise the security of the United States. However, he did not suggest the Attorney General bring any criminal charges against her. It appears that over 2000 of her emails on her private email server were classified with 22 of them being classified as special access programs. The author opined that Comey did not suggest indicting Hillary due the President’s, Attorney General’s, Democrats in Congress and the Liberal Media’s oppositions to an indictment. He speaks of ill will between the Obamas and the Clintons. However, he explains why Obama ended up not wanting Hillary to be indicted for the email scandal. The author speaks of Hillary’s temperament as being unbalanced. I felt he expressed this since Hillary’s claim is that Trump has a temperament unfit to be President. The author feels that Hillary lacks the temperament to be President more so than Trump. The author also feels that Hillary is covering up real health issues. However, he only supplies the facts as they were released to the public such as events of her fainting and her blood clots as well as a friend's interview to support his claim.According to this book, what is interesting is that her lack of indictment for the email scandal does not mean Clinton is in the clear. The author reveals how FBI agents are still investigating her. The media is not publicizing this new investigation. They are looking at her relationship with foreign entities that made donations to the Clinton foundation in return for political favors. The FBI director believed that Hillary had dispensed favors to foreign governments and businessmen who contributed money to the Clinton Foundation. The FBI questioned a retired foreign services officer who worked closely with Clinton. He was questioned whether Hillary ever worked on the Clinton Foundation business while she was secretary of state. He responded that the occasions that she did so were too numerous to mention.I found the book interesting because I wonder what will happen if the investigation uncovers enough to bring charges against Hillary. If Hillary was found guilty of political favors while she was secretary of state, she could be charged under several different statutes. Among them: the federal official bribery and gratuity statute…; the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act…; and the federal program bribery statute. It is unsettling especially if it occurs before the election or if she is elected president. The one thing I did not like was at the end the author expressed his opinion of why Hillary should not be President and listed the reasons why. I think that he would have better off leaving it up to his readers to make up their own minds after he revealed the facts. However, since the presented the book in an enlightening and interesting manner I am willing to overlook his political agenda.

Interesting Expose but Watch Out for Author's Bias in the Final Pages
On the political spectrum I couldn't be considered far right or far left. I'm one of those people who can usually see both sides of an issue. I like to try to dwell on the positive most of the time. But I do have a guilty pleasure. Sometimes I want a dose of gossip. And I feel that when it comes to politicians it's good to know as much as possible about how they operate behind closed doors. I am going to confess as at least one other reviewer did, that the details of the corruption involving the Clintons was sometimes hard to follow. I don't think I'm knowledgeable enough to be able to say whether all of Klein's allegations are factual or not. They seem well documented. But when I got to the end of the book I started to get suspicious. It started becoming obvious to me in those final pages that Klein is to the far right on the political spectrum. So being that he is writing about people who are more to the left politically, things start to get a little fishy.Just for the record, I am a white Christian woman. I am an American citizen. The facts and statistics Klein has compiled in the final pages of his book might be interesting to those on the far right politically, but they are certainly moot points for people who would rather be considered non-partisan or moderate. Now I wish I could quote him, but would you believe my copy of his book has temporarily disappeared? Maybe I threw it somewhere in disgust! So I can't give you any exact figures, but he is concerned about the percentage of white Americans. Our numbers are dwindling! I remember many years ago when I first heard Pat Buchanan mention this. But if we are interested in the welfare of all humans, such percentages shouldn't matter. He also noted that the number of Christians goes down one percentage point a year. And so? What is your point, Mr. Klein? He noted that atheists and agnostics now make up about 25% of the population. Once again, Mr. Klein, what is your problem? Then of course he noted that our country's definition of marriage is changing. Okay, I'll admit here that there are good people on both sides of the marriage issue. I'll cut him some slack there. I might even cut him some slack on the transgender issue although I really am tired of hearing about our restroom problem! But I realize that we do have some understandable conflicts in this regard. But our dwindling white population and our dwindling Christian population are issues that we don't have control over (unless we force white people to start reproducing more or insist that more people begin committing to Christianity). This over-emphasis on demographics is strangely reminiscent of Hitler, I'm afraid, which is beyond scary. And then just to get people like me and Amy Schumer and all the women who are sick and tired of fat bigots really angry, he just happened to mention that we have become a more "coarse" society over the years. Why look at our women--some of them weigh as much as the average man weighed back in the day (I'm paraphrasing). Now coarse, according to the dictionary, means boorish or extremely rude. Weight may be a health issue. But how does it have anything to do with personality--how does it make us "coarse"? All of these things he lists in order to somehow prove that our society is in a "decline"--that we are "deteriorating." How scary is that? I'd like to let him know that I know some of the finest people imaginable who are in same-sex marriages, who don't believe in a deity but who are upstanding citizens in every sense of the word, and who are members of a variety of races, religions, and backgrounds. And I may not know any transgender people personally, but I have read many books (they say reading gives you empathy) and some of these people have an incredible amount of courage and strength of character. Perhaps, Mr. Klein, if you want to write books to expose the lives of those you consider corrupt, make sure that you don't color the books with your own prejudice.

No wonder it's a #1
This is just one of several books from Ed Klein that were #1 on the NY Times bestseller list and no wonder. Funny thing is this one toppled Mrs. H. Clintons memoir book 'hard choices' from that spot. Very insightful, riveting and revealing. Better than a fiction novel, but obviously also more disturbing. This is a scary look behind the scenes of power and even more scary is the thought that there are people in powerful positions who are protected from the long arm of justice, who seem to be untouchable, who can lie through their teeth, commit all kinds of crimes and still have masses of people believe them, and still walk free. It's eerily reminiscent of 1930ties Germany.
