I’ve seen a lot of ‘on air signs’ and they can go for £100 and more! I wanted something way cheaper but still maintained good quality.After some searching I saw this and thought I’d give it a go. It arrived pretty quickly and in a simple box. Plugged it in and it worked fine. You can either use batteries or plug it in. I chose to plug it in as I didn’t want to keep replacing batteries.I have it hooked up to a smart plug so I can turn it on and off with Alexia.It’s a really nice light and it really fits the aesthetic of my work station. Just buy it! You won’t regret it :)

Very nice quality & design. A neat size & easy to use. Nice option to use battery or cable to power it. We opted for battery & worked very well. A cute accessory for kids or a backdrop setting or "scene" for vloggers/influencers etc.

It is OK and does the job. Note that it is usbc or battery powered but is NOT rechargeable. You cannot use ordinary AA rechargeable (NiMh at 1.2V) because it needs the 3 batteries to be a full 1.5V each. So you have to use either Alkaline throwaways - or if you want rechargeable it will have to be the 1.5V lithium rechargeables- quite expensive at £20 for 4. A bit more thought at design stage could have made it rechargeable or least able to run on 4 Alkaline OR rechargeable NiMh. I may take it apart and convert it to rechargeable and put a wireless remote in there.

The sign looks exactly how you want it to, whether illuminated or not.The build appears to be sound and solid, however I did have some issues with the battery operation, the light only illuminated when I slightly extracted one of the batteries, which meant I could not have the battery cover in place as this pushed the offending battery back in and the sign once again didn’t illuminate.As this was going on the wall, the battery cover did not need to be in place so it works well and without issue.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it did feel very plastic and made cheaply… but overall it’s a fantastic gift that my son loves and it hasn’t broke! He uses it every time he makes a gaming YouTube video. I would recommend to anyone as a great gift idea for sure!

Was looking for an ‘on air’ sign for my son who is an avid musician. After seeing that most of the neon signs are either flawed in their manufacture or poorly designed I opted for this product. It’s great! To reduce it to its bare form, it’s only really a box with a light inside to highlight the writing on the outside but it’s still a nice thing and the construction is solid and well made. It takes 3 AAA batteries so you can mount it on a wall etc and also comes with a usb lead for use elsewhere perhaps like a computer workstation or near a usb plug socket.
