This is not my first tactical flashlight, but it is by far the best and brightest I've used. It is great for routine and emergency use. Not sure how likely I am ever to need the SOS feature, but the variable zoom, multiple intensity levels, and even the strobe feature, coupled with its small size, make this a truly handy all-around light for just about any situation. I've already purchased a second one and will probably end up getting more before I'm done. Caution! Don't be looking directly into this flashlight when you first turn it on! It'll be 10 minutes before your vision returns to normal. I have not had this light long enough yet to assess its longevity, but I'll update if I ever have issues with it. I've had butt switches in two other big-brand tactical lights fail after about a year, so I'll be keeping an eye on that aspect with this one. So far, once I got the hang of using the switch on this one for selecting the modes, it's worked just fine. -- I would recommend this to a friend, and no, my comments were not solicited.

I purchased this product because I let my dog out on a lead at night for her last potty and stretch and most times i can't see if she's gone to the bathroom so or what she's barking at so I decided to get this flashlight. I chose this one because the techs at my job use is and if they don't like something they will say something. I am happy with this purchase. The sellers are wonderful. I would recommend this flashlight.

So far I like this flashlight. The lumens seem to be realistic to what the claims are compared to a smaller 300 lumen flashlight I own. One of the two I ordered did not have batteries that worked, but I changed out the batteries, and the flashlight was working fine. Good deal at a nice price.It's a couple more weeks later, and my Shining Buddy flashlight is still working just fine. No complaints so far!

For the price it's quite good. I don't really need all five modes - I would have been much happier with just hi, low & strobe. I also don't like it having an off position between each mode. After you turn it on & off a few times you will grab it, turn it on & it will be in strobe, or you don't know if it's on hi, medium or low. A cycle of hi - low - strobe - off would be much preferred by me. But the things is bright as hell & so far works flawlessly. Seems to be pretty durable - been dropped on concrete a couple of times already & no problem. Love the focusable beam.

Reliable, strong and compact. The kind of flashlight you wanna have around in the house or in the glove compartment. Strobe mode, SOS and a range of different beams by simply adjusting the zoom. Came with 3 Duracell batteries, not the usual cheap generic from China that barely last. Absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended.

Since I live in South Florida I got this flashlight for Hurricane Matthew. Even though I did not need it (thanks goodness) I am really impressed with the power of this little shining beast. I showed it to my cousin and he already ordered a couple for him and his buddies. Great flashlight at an awesome price! 10/10

This LED Tactical flashlight is one of the best I have seen, and I am what you could say a flashlight collector. You can never have too many flashlights in your home, car, boat, camper, backpack or anywhere else you might need one, so I am always looking for a high quality, reasonable priced flashlight and I found it in this one from Shining Buddy. It is well made from aluminium and that makes it durable. It has 3 modes of operation; full light, an SOS signal and a pulsating strobe, but the best feature is the adjustable focusing of the light from a precision pinpoint beam to a wide, and I mean wide circle. It is brighter than any other LED flashlights I have that are bigger and this one only uses 3 AAA batteries. Great value for the money considering how well built it is. I planned on adding a video to show it in more detail, but I will not be able to do that until I get the second one I just ordered because my son took the first one! But I will, and you will be able to see how great this little light works!
