This will help my garden planting to be easier and less stress on my back

This is a very flimsy and poorly made item. The plastic gearbox was frozen and thus the seed wheel would not turn and I was unable to plant a single seed. Flimsy aluminum construction makes it impossible for this item to work properly. It was also missing several bolts and the instructions are easily the worst I’ve ever seen. I ended up planting three rows of corn by hand because this thing is a hunk of junk.

This product is horrible. I started with corn after 6 steps 1 seed came out. When I looked at the tool I seen the problem. The cheap plastic drive pulley is held to the drive wheel with 3 small tabs and a coupler that squeezes it to the drive wheel. the 3 tabs strip out because there's only 1 washer that holds it inwards. Then there's the fact the belt is so tight that the seed plate in it rubs so hard against the inside of the hopper the belt stops moving and then the drive wheel pulley strips out. Product needs to be redesigned, it could be a handy little tool. But as is, it is a waste of time. 45 minutes to set up, 45 minutes to break down and repack, computer time to request a refund. Just don't buy this model.

I bought this in February and just now used it. Too late to send back. Seeds come out in bunches. The seeds fall behind the plates and jam. Some seeds went flying out of the holder. It failed to pick up most of the corn seed. I don’t recommend this seeder.

Good value

Pretty sturdy for what it is. Plants to close for me have to stop up holes on the plates with wax to increase the distance from seed to seed. But otherwise a great deal.

After assembly I noticed this was very flimsy and cheap. The worst part is the seed disk won't spin with the drive wheel because of poor quality. So it was useless out of the box
