Excellent Product. I use this to run a 220V hot plate to keep food warm while I am eating, it works perfectly, gets only a little warm which is expected.Update, after many uses I found the device getting too warm, the case is distorting, it still works but I have now ordered the 150W version to reduce the stress on the transformer.

Lo compre hace unos días y recién lo empecé a usar.. lo tenía conectado a un TV de 32" y estuvo prendido 1 horas y empezó a oler a plástico quemado, y mi televisor se apagó. Ruego que no se haya dañado mi TV. Pésima calidad. Estoy en Ecuador, ni como devolverlo

No identified reason that it stopped converting voltage, was never used near its wattage limits. LED on front does not illuminate, so obviously failed internally. Request a replacement from company since product was defective in short timeframe.

Have to return it. Use it for my hair curler, the voltage is under what it marks, but it doesn't work. Don't buy.

A little bulky and the European style plug falls out unless placed correctly against book stand, but it works. The cassette radio player works well.

Worked fine for about a week before quitting.

I received this item for my travel to Ireland. Upon arrival I used the converter in one of their outlets correctly as per the instructions on the box. The converter started smoking and became very hot. It was also sparking in the outlet. The unit was extremely hot to the touch and was smoking when taken out of the outlet. The hotel manager had to come to my room and insisted that the converter be removed as it was dangerous and a fire hazard to the hotel. I had to go the whole week without a converter for my plugs.

I bought the thing to support my small appliances imported from EU but it didn’t even work at all. After I put it in the socket it although got a burning smell so bad I had to let it out in the balcony.
