Medieval Weapon Push Pins

I needed to buy something for a secret Santa at work. My secret Santa was ended up being a very dear colleague, but a few minutes after I found out, I realized that I didn't know anything about her interests. I decided to do something a little unusual and buy several different fun office supplies to get a laugh. I figured that we all use office supplies and even if she hated them, she could get some use out of them.Out of the gift bag that I prepared, this was the present that she liked the most. They do look very good, and the box was very nice for a presentation in front of coworkers. Several other people laughed and commented on how unique they are.So, do they last a long time? I have no idea. My colleague has them at her desk on her cork board as a decoration. We're mostly electronic at my office, so all of our push pins usually hold pictures or some other decorative item that doesn't get moved very often. Overall, I would buy them again. I do always update reviews on the rare occasion that something changes, so if they start falling apart, I'll be back.

Just to clarify, aside from the novelty, they're just all around good push pins. They do their job and hold up my photos and notes, easy peasy.But I didn't buy them for normal push pin reasons. I bought them because it's sick to see a photo of my family held to the wall by an miniature axe, or a drawing my daughter did pinned with a sword. Love them!

These are great. The only problem I have with them, not really a problem, more of a nitpick I guess, is that the pins are a little bit too long for the bulletin board I am using. So I can't push the swords in to the hilt, and the axes don't go all the way in.

My husband is an amateur historian and D & D dungeon master. I gifted him this set of tacks and he absolutely loves them. They have long points are are sharp, so these are better for adults than for use by children.

What you see is what you get. After years of Amazon experience I've never written a review but I wanted to offset the worthless negative feedback here. Sure these are expensive and cheap plastic but the actual functionality of the pins are metal and just the same quality as any other push pin. I bought them because I thought they'd be awesome and unique and got exactly what I paid for. Everyone at the office got a laugh out of it and I'm sure years to come.There's other decorative push pins in this category on Amazon but many are just figurines glued to pins. These were actually orignally manufactured for this purpose. You won't be disappointed.-Tony

These are a must have for the "gamer nerd" or office-ninja! Got them for a co-worker and almost everyone in the office was jealous! Not only do they look super cool, they are great quality. Will be buying these again for the next "white elephant" party - they were a huge hit!

What you see is what you get. They're bigger than they look - the pointy bit is about average size for a thumbtack, but the handle is larger than average. They stay in just fine and are pretty sturdy - I've been using one of the axes to hold up my headset at work for a couple of weeks and it's not fallen out or broken or anything.

Purchased these for my new corkboard, bit I wanted to add some style to it than using regular push-pins. These are great, funny, and overall, awesome!Everyone at my apartment got a kick out of these when I put my corkboard up. Now they love piercing stuff on it with katanas, sabers, and axes.So, if you wanna look awesome whereever you have a corkboard, get these.
