5 feet Nitinol Shape Memory Pre-trained Wire (0.5mm 70 C (0.02" 158 F))

I have enjoyed working with this material, my students have learnt a lot from the different experiment we can do with it.

You get a tiny amount of wire. We cut off a 3" piece, bent it all up, dropped it into water that was boiling seconds prior, and it pops back into shape instantly. If the water cools even a little, then the wire does not return to its original shape.So...- You get only a little bit of wire (5 feet as advertised, not the roll in the product picture)- Your water has to be very near boiling to snap the wire back to its original straight configuration

Pro tip: use good quality wire cutters when cutting nitinol wire to appropriate length. Broke my cheap set of cutters sizing the 12 ga wire.

Does not work and I am familiar with nitinol.

I surprised with the length!!!
