I wouldn't recommend keeping beer in this, as it won't stay cold. Search for Icemule for a cooler/drybag. That being said, if you are looking to get an idea of what 35L means in real terms, you could easily get a 30 pack of cans in here. If you also put ice in there, it would be heavy as heck and it wouldn't be comfortable to carry. I use this in the dry storage in my kayak to put clothes and towels, first aid kit, lunch, and so forth in. It works great for that. It's not a cooler, if you want a drybag cooler this is not it. Again look into Icemule, i believe their largest offering has backpack straps.

Q: Is the bag comfortable to carry?

It's like any other pack. I'm more interested in will it to the job at hand which is keeping the contents dry, which it does. It's as comfortable as any other pack that I've owned.

Q: What is height dimension when rolled closed?

Pack is about 21 inches high if you fold opening three times for a good seal. If you fold twice you may get another inch. The pack is a good 18 inches wide and has a 6 inch foot on bottom, pretty roomy for waterprooF.

Comfortable to wear while contents are safe and dry

Fit and finish is great. The body material is thick (reminds me of shark skin), buckles are quality, hip and adjustable sternum straps are sturdy, and padded back make this pack an excellent value. The 35L pack is large enough for my day tripsNot only is it highly water resistant, it is also dust resistant too. Kept my lunch, extra clothes, and recovery gear dry and dust free from elements. The outside pocket is a nice feature. There is no external pocket for water bottles and I’m okay with that. One less weak link for water intrusion.I’ve done two 5 hour ATV rides so far and no fatigue whatsoever and did not notice any annoying pressure points. With proper adjustments, It stuck to my back through rough terrain. There is an internal zippered pocket but wish it was large enough for a tablet.I love this pack and highly recommend.

Great great bag!

Had this bag for about a year now, finally got around to doing a review on it: It’s an essential backpack for any traveller. You can easily fit a week or two worth of clothing in it, fully waterproof with no issues thus far. If you’re doing a quick trip abroad and you don’t want a suitcase, this is your product. Very sturdy and well made. I have 0 regrets. It cost a fair amount but fully worth it! Oh and before I forget, you won’t drown with this on your bag pack on!**(if sealed correctly) haha
