Really reasonable price, unfortunately quality not as expected. Lid doesn't lock and not hermetically tight ( loose around the edge, in some areas not flash with top of bucket )

Not sure on the universal. We required a deeper bowl for a commode chair since the supplied one was too shallow. This said 'universal' so thought I'd try it. Sadly it would not fit as is in the space provided. I ended up bending the metal supports on the chair to get it to fit. It's not a bad bowl and is slightly transparent so you can get an idea of what's been happening.However, I bought a new chair, excellent value  Folding lightweight commode chair with top loading easily removable pot  which is foldable and portable and this pail fits exactly. I'm not using these for a commode but they make a great bucket for making handmade papers. They are affordable and simple

I have 4 of these for a 1 gallin primary fermenter. Been brewing like a mad man!
