It’s actually almost 71in tall, slightly under by one notch of the standard construction measuring tape. Great quality and firmness of wood, the back wall piece is very thin but it doesn’t matter as long as you place it against the wall, structure is mostly made of sides and the shelves. very nice and even color, could not find any small defects. panels gets heavy once you put them together so be careful. all tools included, took me 2 hrs bc im meticulous and making it perfect. only problem was panel #4 didnt have the hole drilled to fit into the other half but its easy to fix with a drill, the wood is drilled already so youre only making a hole by drilling the top layer of laminate that they put over the panel. or you could just use a knife and carve it out. might just be only my order that had this. overall good product and very worth the price than going to ikea.

I do my research before buying anything and I'm glad I did!! These booksheleves are absolutely amazing and secure! The shelfs themselves are actually screwed in instead of the typically pegs and there are little backing pieces to support the backdrops which adds more secure, and it's really good for your money being really affordable but sturdy, I love how functional they are with holding my books as I have a lot!! The color is so pretty I ordered Maple as I didn't want dark woods and it's so worth it!! The height on these shelfs are a good bit of height!! And i love how light weight is too when its empty making it wasy to place where i need too!! 5/5 I will be ordering these for the forseen future!!

The instructions were pretty easy to follow. Next to last step was a tad confusing but able to figure it out. Put entire thing together and anchored to wall and I am not usually the one in our house to put items together. It is pretty sturdy and has a neat look to its finish.I am using to store photo albums and pictures. Be sure to measure your photo albums first as most of mine won't fit standing up they way they are supposed to because they are too tall so had to lay them on their sides. Thought I measured the tallest one but I was wrong. Fit perfect where I wanted it to go!

I wanted a taller bookshelf to store my books in as I do a LOT of reading and this one looked like it would work. The price is lower than what I've seen on others and I'm not rich, so I took a shot at it hoping that it would be serviceable. I am very pleasantly surprised. First off, it arrived two days earlier than expected and was packed very well with the shelf pieces very well protected. The instructions are mostly diagrams with a small amount of wording, but were easy to follow - didn't run into anything that I didn't understand. By myself it took me about two hours to assemble - others may be a bit faster but I wasn't in a hurry and I've messed up things before and had to redo them. The pieces and hardware fit together well - no issues there. It is a taller shelf so I would definitely recommend using the tipover restraint piece included. The construction seems sturdy and I like the fact that the back pieces fit into grooves (not nailed on as you find in other lower cost shelves) and there are also bracers included to install behind the back pieces - first time I have seen that in shelves in this price range. I bought the black shelves and I love the look. These shelves are perfect for storing my books and I can see where they would look great pretty much anywhere. I actually liked it so much that I bought a second one that was also delivered early and had no issues with that one either. All in all, I would say this is a very good item and even moreso considering the price. Very satisfied with this product.

Easy to build, even with only 1 person. They give you enough screws/items. My one issue is they include a screwdriver but it didn't fit, but had a regular screwdriver and it worked.Fits a lot of books. Pretty sturdy without using the top hinge.Overall, would recommend. Color is great, but the stickers to hide the screws are too light.Would say worth the price ($68 at time of purchase)

okay, to start, im incredibly happy with this. i think for the low price i paid, the quality was really nice. my last bookshelf, i was having to stack my books because there were so many. and my kitten would always knock them onto the ground. now, they all fit and look GORGEOUS. and while my cat has tried a few times to jump up onto these shelves, im glad it gave me the tools to screw it into the wall. so easy, im obsessed with it.

I have a lot of books and some of them are quite heavy. I have a variety of bookcases, some of them had their problems with sagging shelves and nylon hooks which break and then we have a real catastrophe! i am making an effort to get books off of the floor in the living room and to the downstairs where no one will really see them. I am not concerned with this bookcase as furniture but for its utilitarian function!So with that:* the instructions are clear and with some care, the bookcase goes together without problems. Make sure you have the right pieces with the right pieces. They are all numbered, so no confusion there.*the bookcase is sturdy and the shelves are short which helps. It holds a lot of books but your bigger heightwise books will not fit. Shelves are equidistant and are 11".*the shelves are fastened with long screws and nylon supports are also included. Those have to be screwed in but I will probably use pieces of wood running the width of the shelves underneath as needed*hardware to fasten the bookcase to the wall is also provided but I substituted a sturdier bracket.I am so pleased that I have purchased another and will probably purchase an additional one or two.
