topseller100, Pack of 50 Sheets 8x10 Uncut matboard/mat Boards (Mix)

These come in a variety of colors, are cut square, and seem off good quality. I am using them with my Cricut machine, primarily to make dollhouse miniatures but also for other things. I have not had much success in cutting them so far, but I believe that is because of my inexperience with the Cricut, not because of any defect in the matboard. Overall, I'm happy with it. It came quickly and well packaged.

I love the colors. The quality seemed good. Have mounted about 30 pictures to the mats and affixed them to painted walls using removable putty, like Blu-Tack. Beautiful. Exactly as I hoped. Except... Every single day, they warp more and more! No matter how much adhesive I put behind them the warp finds a way in and just yanks the photo into a curl until it falls off the wall. The humidity from a shower down the hall is enough to make them warp even more. Plop, plop, plop as they warp and fall down. I've never had this problem before; ones I made 20 years ago don't warp and happily stay put with a single dab of Blu-Tack. I'm too far into this project to stop now. I hope that if I use enough adhesive they will stay put, but I'm getting a bad feeling about this...

I purchased pre-cut mats (10 orders, different sizes) and was disappointed because the margins are too big, forcing you to buy very large frames for your pictures, and the colors you get really don't go with most photographs (each pack does contain 3-4 nice colors). I purchased this uncut 8-10 and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. The colors are awesome, and cutting the mats can be done with a standard paper cutter. I paid less than $20 for this item, and got more use out of it than all the pre-cut mats I purchased first. Its a good product, and will save you money.

I am new to matting and framing so I can't compare these mats to anything else as these are the first ones I have ever bought. These seem to be fine. They cut fine and have a nice white core. I will use most of the colors eventually I think and there is a good variety. I have to admit that I didn't realize how expensive these can be when I decided to do my own. But I will say that it will be much cheaper to do my own than taking them to be done at a framing shop.Update: I'll leave these at 5 stars since I am new to mat board but after having these for for a couple months they are all warping and bowing. I don't know if they are supposed to be stored a certain way but they are flat in a cool dark dry area, We generally have humidity below 40% so I doubt moisture is the issue.

I bought these for colored pencil drawings while I am recovering from hip surgery. The photo is a colored pencil drawing on black mat. These are perfect size wise and for taking many layers of color. The assortment of colors allows for choosing a color to match the predominant color in the artwork.

I had been purchasing matboard from a local hobby shop to make board game prototypes from, but found these cheaper and perfect size for player boards without cutting. I print on full sheet labels and then stick the labels to these. They're also much easier to work with for cutting tiles and tokens compared to the huge sheets I had been getting. These are a bit thinner and do seem to warp a tiny bit, but for my prototypes they're great.

Not quite 10 inches but I kept them because it was inconvenient to send back and wait for another product. Very disappointment because I wanted 2 5x8 cards. The quality of mat board was good. but size was about a 9 and 7/8 instead of exactly 10.

The picture indicates that there are black mat boards but, there are not. The black was the only one I needed for a project that needed to be completed by Xmas and the assorted pack was the only offer with prime 2 day shipping which is why I did not order just the black option.I now have to use one out of the pack in another color so my project will be completed by Xmas so I'm not able to return these.
