Mark Rothko Notecard Box

This is my second go-round with the Rothko note cards, as I just love 'em. Naturally, you have to like his art. The choice of five paintings used for cards is diverse and very tasteful, yet different than my last box 5 years ago. These cards are larger than most blank cards reprinted from famous art...great when you have more to say! Things like this are vanishing because of email, facebook, texting - electronic communication- I can tell you I always get a great reaction from a hand written note on a classic card. They're on a good quality stock, yet not too heavy as to cause you to have to use an extra postage stamp. (Yes! Snail mail still exists)! The colour saturation is worthy of Rothkos' work. Really fine blank cards. One of my friends actually framed one in an oversized frame. Looks good!

Very high quality very well reproduced image. If you love Rothko you will love these.

A favorite artist

I had just seen the play "Red" about Mark Rothko and wanted to learn more about him. While researching books I ran across these note cards. Well, I am a lover of just about any kind of writing paper and was thrilled with this find. The notecards are sturdy and of great quality.
