Impressed. Just what I needed
I bought this so I could monitor the temperature inside my remote camp and take action if there was an issue such as a furnace failure. Set up in seconds, added right to my SmartHome app I already used for my outdoor plugs. Temp is accurate. I paid an extra $1.20 for 6 months of SMS notification service (Prefer that to the app push notices). Set up an alert if the temp drops below 40degreesF. It all worked for me, quite easily.

Works Great For My Purpose
I've had this monitor in my attic for the last several months and am very happy with it. I use it to monitor temperature and humidity in the attic via the app on my phone. Once you figure out to connect it to wifi, the app does work fine. Other reviewers complained that they'd have to constantly reset from Celsius to Fahrenheit on the device, but I haven't had that problem. It stayed set to Fahrenheit once I toggled the switch on the device.

For as little as it does, it does what I need.
I use this to monitor the room where we keep our pets. It lets me check the temp & humidity through Alexa, but that’s about it (and I don’t really care about the humidity.)Alexa integration is minimal. You cannot set alarms or notifications based on readings, you can only learn the temperature by asking Alexa a direct question; in the settings, it only shows the humidity. It shows regular readings over time in its own app, but not through Alexa. Of course, for a recurring subscription fee, it can do more… but I’m not going to be doing that.It has reset from °F to °C a few times, and it defaults to °C, but that’s minor. The device does what I need - I only wish it did more of what it’s capable of for the purchase price.

Good idea, poor execution.
The “Smart Life” app sucks. Micro-transaction for temperature notifications? Really? Furthermore, it resets the temperature units every single time I open the app. I live in America. I go by Fahrenheit. Every single time I open the damn app it is on Celsius. Every single time I change it. Every single time it reverts it.If you don’t care about the smart function, this will work, but there are much cheaper options that will do the exact same thing. (LCD and all, the only reason this one is expensive is for the so-called “smart capabilities”)If you do care about the smart function, this product is an absolute joke, and I heavily suggest finding a different Hygrometer. You will thank yourself later for investing in better.

It’s amazing cute sensor
I just wanted to buy a temperature and humidity sensor looks like this one. It’s cute and designed. Just downloaded the App. And easy to set up . Just check the room status on you phone. It’s convenient and sensitive as well. I just hold it few seconds. The humidity was changed directly. It’s not big size and exactly I love it.

Needs a calibration
So far I like the sensor but the temp is a bit off. At 70f the temp is dead on, at 80f I am off by 3 degrees, at 90f it reads 102f. The accuracy sucks but it is relatably wrong so I can still use it for what I need.1. I read that Smart life sucks and want paid for alarms, for some alarms that is true, text and email. For message center on iOS that is free for now.2. I read the thing defaults to C each time the app is launched. I set my setting dot F and have not had issues in the app, the app does not change the local setting and the button on the back needs to be used to change local scale.I am using this to control evaporative cooling in a greenhouse. Even with exchanging air volume 3 times a minute last year I couldn’t keep temp under 115 between 2-4pm.So what do I do? I use this temp sensor in Smartlife. I import smartlife into SmartThings. I also have a Rachio sprinkler controller where one zone is connected to my cooling system. When temp goes above 90f in the greenhouse or 102 by this sensor, using ifft in SmartThings it turns on the mist for 2 minutes or till temp drops to less than 90f. All of it has been working pretty seemless so far.I don’t like that in smartlife I can’t set the alarms in F when the thing is set to F but that is a small annoyance.

Good Temperature Monitor
Had this for a couple of months and it works just fine. App works OK - no problem with displaying in Fahrenheit even when recovering from a power failure. When it recovers from a power failure, the device display has to be changed to Fahrenheit, but not the App. I Like the fact that it is plug in so it can be left unattended forever. Updated App allows humidity alarm, so upgraded to 5 stars.

Works, but doesn't retain settings
Seems to read temperature just fine, but doesn't remember the °C/°F setting in the app, and the °C/°F setting on the device itself always needs to be reset after power cycling. The screen is not particularly easy to read in poor light, and the location of the USB connection is very inconvenient for wall mounting. But the device does work.
