Rubber seals are useless. The lid causes leaks at the seal, so while you're drinking from the mouth piece, it is leaking at the seams right under your chin, leaving a dribble streak on your shirt. Works only if your mouth covers both lid and seam...which is frankly an odd way to drink Terrible design

I purchased this to go with the 18 oz tumbler I had purchased, which did not include a lid, which I found surprising. I purchased for use with cold/iced beverages.Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t drink out of this lid without dripping whatever is in the cup all over the place. Still works for travel purposes (not that it’s super-tight, but it’ll work to get it to the car cup holder), but I absolutely have to use a straw to keep from making a mess, which is disappointing.

I have had 2 of these lids and the same thing happened to both of them. The center part of the slider broke and the lid is now less than functional.
