P-Line CXX-Xtra Strong High Visibility Clear Fluorescent Fishing Line 1/4# Spool

I find this line to be somewhat stiff and retains a bit of memory - but it is some strong stuff! I’ve bent (straightened) some 5/0 & 6/0 heavy duty hooks after being hung up on brush and pulling the bait loose! It does seem susceptible to abrasions (that you can feel) but seems to maintain its strength regardless. I picked a roll up to use during the summer months night fishing with a Blacklight - which this line literally looks like a rope underneath a Blacklight. But will be switching back to straight floro after night fishing tournament season is over.

I was expecting great things from this line, but I was disappointed. It has more memory than any line I have used. If you get a back lash and pull off several feet of line, it coils around reel handles, fingers and anything on the deck of the boat.

Feels extremely strong, however not very limp, in fact it's much stiffer & thicker diameter than I expected; I normally use 12 lb. line for just about everything but I'm thinking I could've gone with 10 in the CXX and it woulda been plenty. Casts ok, but not as good as some others I've used. The hi-vis is awesome, very easy to see and I do love that for worm fishin. In summary, it's ok, but I probably wouldn't purchase again.

Spooked all my rods easily with this line. Will be fishing all this weekend. Expecting it to perform well.

Great visibility on saltwater (helps me find my line on crowded boats) but the 30lb has a very strong memory. Took a couple decent yellowtail to take care of the spirals and it was much straighter on the cast after a good stretch. Others recommended line conditioner, I prefer to let the pelagics do that for me.
