Most annoying thing ever!
This is a great item but buy at your peril. So frustrating - I love it and hate it at the same time. It’s metal so I can’t burn it … but that would make me sad so I’ll have to keep trying to master it!

Fun for beginners, we are still learning
We are very happy with this unicycle purchase. The assembly instructions were clear, especially the all important right-vs-left pedal. The seat is comfortable, and the addition of the plastic guards on the front and back of the seat are useful for keeping the seat in good shape while the unicycle falls (a lot) while learning to ride.We have a dad and teenage daughter learning together. I would suggest checking on YouTube for better instructions to learn to ride; the instructions with the unicycle itself were not detailed enough. But we also found that some people learn differently than others, thus YouTube will allow you to choose your own most comfortable choice.

Save Your Money
Suggest it'll be cheaper to spend more now on a better unicycle. I knew nothing about unicycles, and you may be in the same boat.First, this thing is trivial to put together, so don't worry about instructions. None necessary! My son's been using his for 3 days and we've noticed a number of issues. Most troubling are the bumpers (the blue ends on the seat). They serve 2 purposes: to hold onto as your mounting and riding, and to protect the softer parts of the seat when the unicycle falls - which happens frequently when you're learning. The bumpers on this unicycle are made of a stiff plastic, and the back one broke off immediately. With continued use, I'm sure the seat will rip apart.Another problem we had was with the clamp for the seat post. It appears to be "quick release", but it also appears to not work. I haven't disassembled it, but I expect there's no cam action. Rather it acts as a handle which easily folds out of your way for riding. My son is pretty light (12 yrs old, 79 lbs), and after a bit of riding the seat is misaligned relative to the wheel. I've tightened it using a wrench, but I'm worried I'll break it if I go much further. Not a big problem, but a nuisance. Finally, a more trivial "issue" deals with the pre-assembled cranks (the arms the peddles attach to). The left and right cranks aren't aligned with one-another, but are a couple of degrees off. My son has complained about this, but I'm not convinced that it's really just him still learning to ride. He claims that this results in him having a tough time turning the peddles when they're "straight" up and down. On each revolution of the wheel, at some point when one peddle is straight down, but the other is not quite yet straight up. I expect this stage would be tough with any unicycle, but when one of the peddles isn't yet to the top of the rotation it's got to make it especially tough. Since I don't ride, it's impossible to judge how big a problem this really is.While there's nothing I think I'll do about that last issue, I expect to spend about $20 on a new seat and about $6 for a new clamp, plus shipping. I think that would've been money better spent on a better unicycle!

Good Quality and Great Service
The unicycle is better quality than I expected for a low cost, starter cycle. Directions for assembly are TERRIBLE but it wasn't difficult to figure out. The best part of the order was the customer service. When I noticed that it was stuck in a UPS terminal for four days with an "exception" code, I contacted the seller through an email to Amazon and asked if they could do something since it was to be a Christmas present and time was running out. Customer service immediately emailed me back, apologized for the UPS delay and expedite shipped a 2nd unicycle at no charge. They only asked that if the original showed up that I would return it. They were responsive and trusting which you rarely see anymore.

Cycle came through fine but my granddaughter has not had her birthday yet.
I will know how good the unicycle is when my granddaughter opens the package and rides it.
