These very neat folding hooks are exactly as described. They fold away neatly when not in use and are just what you see in the pictures when folded out. I use a pair to mount a 2.5 metre long wooden boat hook for ready access and another pair to stow my heavy brass narrowboat tiller when not in use. They do both jobs perfectly and fold neatly out of the way when not needed. They are aluminium, so clearly they won't take a huge load, but they are quite sturdy. I have no idea why the only other review is a poor 2 stars with no explanation, as these are far better than that.
