I like my tea bag in the hot water for eaxctly 3 min. OK, yea, I'm a little obsessive, but it's my tea and I'lll make it my way. ha ha. This little device is great. I drop my tea bag in the cup of hot water, tip the timer on 3 min. I go do something else and in three min. the timer makes the beeper go off. It's Tea Time.... Easy and I love this thing. I'm thinking about buying all my preacher friends one for Christmas.

We are using this for meetings and those individuals giving their 1 minute report. This is Perfect because, when it beeps, they finish up quickly. Ha! Keeps the meetings running smoothly. So simple to use.

Original review:Super useful for steeping tea, among other things. I've had several of these over the years. This one is a good value, and has been holding up just fine. It has two volume settings, and the quiet one is a bit too loud. But that hasn't been much of a problem. Solid timer, overall.Update, 4 months later:I thought it was broken. When set on its side to begin the timer, nothing happened. The little number display showed all 8s and it didn't beep. When put down without a number up (the off setting) it would just chirp about once per second, continuously. Then I replaced the battery and the problem was fixed.

The media could not be loaded. This was well made and easy to use. My friend got one and I loved it so I bought one for myself! I love how it has different time increments and all you have to do is flip it and it automatically starts and goes off. No need to worry about setting it! And it is a good size. I even use it in my workout routines to tell me when to switch. Love it!
