Dorman 310-219 Evaporative Emissions System Leak Detection Pump Compatible with Select Models,Plastic, Black and White

Check engine light came up, code reader was P0440 EVAP fault. Had it diagnosed at garage was told the ESIM needed to be fixed. Dodge wanted 800$+ to fix it. Got this took me all of 15 min to install it. Cleared code and problem fixed for 40$! It’s been a month and no issues at all.

17' Ram 1500 5.7 hemi Removed the old one pretty easily. Just have to hold down the bottom tab while you turn the part to remove and same for install. Remember to remove the old O-ring and put the new one in on the tank side before install. O-ring sits in place nicely while getting the new part installed. Took a little force to get the new one turned in but I think it helped to depress the bottom tab at the same time. I had to remove my negative post on the battery for a couple minutes then my check engine and fuel cap lights both went away. Good product. 15 min swap.
