Playstation Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Launch Edition 5

En cuanto vi el videojuego me enamore ya que soy fanático de la franquicia. Lamentablemente el juego en físico aquí en México no me gusto para nada. Sin portada trasera y con ese espantoso etiquetado de videojuegos que arruina cualquier portada. Gracias a dios encontré esta edición de lanzamiento! a buen precio y más siendo vendido por amazon Estados Unidos. Lo único malo fue que el disco estaba suelto pero no le paso nada. En fin tener ese etiquetado americano y esa portada trasera me pone feliz.

Core gameplay as an action/platform/shooter is the similar to past games, but with the improved graphics, SDD, Duel Sense controller, and wave dash/wall run/hoover boots gameplay mechanics makes it a more immersive experience.There's also a new playable main character. You play as Ratchet and Rivit with Clank as a companion (also have his own mini-game segments). Both go through parallel worlds with their own story which eventually intersect. Some worlds are character specific. Both Ratchet and Rivit play the same, but with different dialogue/personality. Weapons and upgrades collected do carry over from each character. Clank also have an alternate dimension version named Kit, along with other core characters in the franchiseStory: Clank presents Ratchet with a dimensionator to help him find other Lombaxs. Dr nefarious crashes the party and steals it. Ratchet and Clank gets teleported to a different diamention during the shuffle. They get seperated, Clank meets up with Rivet. They try to find each other as well as go to other planets trying to collect parts to rebuild the dimensionator.This game is built from the ground up for the PS5 and fully ultilizes the console's SDD and controller.Load times are practically non-existant. Rift tether ability teleports you through portals to new areas instantaneously and seamlessly making it impossible on PS4 (no SDD)Haptic feedback is similar to the Astro's Playroom demo. Able to feel HD rumble from environment and weapons used. For example, when you enter the club area you're able to feel the sound vibration when you get closer. For weapons you feel the recoil. Able to feel bolts go into you/controller as you collect them.Tempest 3D Audio. If you have a compatible 3d headset for your PS5; you're able to hear things off to the distance which helps in battle, and for immersion. Going back to the club example, sounds gets louder as you get closer/able to hear from afar when searching for it. Can hear ships flying off in the distance. You're able to hear where enemies are coming from when they say their voice quips/battle crys. Soundtrack for the game is really good.Adaptive triggers. Able to half press to aim and fire weapon. Weapons fire differently by pressing half way to conserve ammo, or full press for alternate fire . Most likely you're going to full press majority of the time unless you're playing on hardest difficulty. Sometimes you may whiff the trigger button when caught in a moment.Combat is very fluid. Linking weapon effects and jumping/dashing around arena can be very exhilarating once you build up your arsenal. Makes past games feel really slow in comparison and will be hard to go back.Grind rail segments feel like roller coaster rides at times, especially with a lot of things going on in the background20 guns in the game. Some unlock 2nd playthrough. Guns do level up the more you use them. Higher the level the more perk upgrade unlocks. Max level 5 first playthough, 10 second. This encourages you to use variety of weapons and not stick to one if you want to upgrade all weapons to the max, and when out of ammo.Armor can be color customizable, mixed and match sets. Some have their own stat attributes once equippedGraphics are amazing, as mentioned before, a lot of things happening in the background. Most beautiful looking games I've seen on consoles especially with the reflections from ray tracing in fidelity mode. Game doesn't stutter with a lot of enemies on screen.3 different graphics modes:Performance RT (Ray tracing): 60fps raytracing. lower res lighting, vfx, and screen densityPerformance: 60fps. no ray tracing. better graphicsFidelity: 30fps. Ray Tracing. Higher res lighting, vfx and screen density.Accessibility options are really good. As a longtime fan of the Ratchet & Clank series, I was thrilled to get my hands on the latest installment - Rift Apart - for my Playstation 5. And I have to say, it does not disappoint!The game is a wild and wacky ride, with stunning graphics, engaging gameplay, and plenty of humor and charm. The storyline follows Ratchet and Clank as they navigate a series of interdimensional rifts, encountering new characters and challenges along the way.One of the standout features of Rift Apart is the DualSense technology, which provides haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for a truly immersive gaming experience. The sensation of firing weapons or jumping from platform to platform feels more realistic and engaging than ever before.But it's not just the technology that makes this game great. The characters are lovable and memorable, with plenty of witty banter and comedic moments to keep you entertained. And the world-building is top-notch, with each dimension feeling unique and vibrant.One potential downside is that the game can be quite challenging at times, especially if you're not familiar with the series or the genre. But there are difficulty options available, and the satisfaction of overcoming a tough boss or puzzle is all the more rewarding because of it.Overall, I highly recommend Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Launch Edition for anyone looking for a fun and engaging gaming experience on their Playstation 5. Ratchet and Clank are back on the PS5 and boy it feels good to play one of these games again. Ratchet and Clank is the 3D platform shooter that isn't so kiddie that it feels like it has training wheels but not so hard that it seems like you have to commit each level to memory. We've been getting a lot of late entry sequels lately and Rift Apart is just like those. The good thing about the Ratchet and Clank series is that this could be your first game you've ever played and you wouldn't be remotely lost on what is going on.This game plot feels so cinematic but is also written that way. In a way it feels like something that you would see come from the MCU. It has cosmic evens, big bombastic enemies and plenty of comedy to keep it light hearted. The plot centers around a device called the Dimensionator which rips a hole between two dimensions. Part of the fun is seeing the counterparts of each dimension. Ratchet's counterpart is Rivet. Rivet is the other character you will play as and while she is just a reskin of Ratchet it was nice to play more then one character in this game. The neat thing is the upgrades and gun purchases carry over from each time you switch characters.Gameplay is fantastic the gunplay is fun and each gun brings a different move set to it so the game is never dull. In fact trying to figure out which combinations to use is such a big part of the fun. The movement never felt frustrating. Unlike when I played the last Crash Bandicoot this felt way more forgiving in every way when you made a mistake in a jump or just died in general it didn't go out of its way to punish you. There was enough enemies to keep it from getting dull and enough cinematic moment that I know I sat up from my chair in anticipation. The controller was great what PlayStation is doing with that haptic feedback is the next level of controllers. Overall this game is worth having a PS5. With the amazing graphics fun gameplay this isn't a title to sleep on. I can't get enough of this game it is a BUY.

One of the best games on the PS5 currently in my opinion. First off, the game is absolutely gorgeous if you run it in 'Fidelity' mode, and even with it only being 30FPS, I honestly can say I love it over the game running at 60FPS with a lower quality resolution. Second, the game runs incredibly smooth with my own playthrough experiencing no lag or hiccups in the frame rate. I did experience 1 soft lock where the game wouldn't let me leave the weapon shop but other then that I experienced no glitches, frame rate drops, or other problems running the game. Third, the game had a huge variety of fun weapons with myself only disliking 2 out of the 20 weapons throughout the entire experience. Fun upgrades, plenty of weapon combos you can create with such a vast arsenal, and stunningly beautiful effects for just about each and every one.Overall, if you are a Ratchet & Clank fan, you'll absolutely love this game, and even if you aren't, I honestly would recommend this over almost any other PS5 title. Fun weapons, stunning graphics, delightful humor, and lovable characters, this game soars to a 10/10 in my homestead opinion. Thinking back I have no real qualms to bring this game down to a 9/10 even after thinking it over for a few days, but this again is just my opinion so take that as you will. I still whole heartedly recommend anyone who owns a PS5 to pick this up, a must buy~
