Will the lower shelf hold standard magazines without sticking out past the legs?

This item is advertised as a shower sitting shelf/shaving shelf. You should should be fine if you want to read Readers Digest while showering or TV Guide while shaving your legs. I would go for it, but order the optional umbrella and have your magazines laminated.

What is the weight capacity?

All of our benches over 18" in length are rated for up to 250 lbs.

I'm not a fan of logos. is the eco decors plate on the bench attached to both sides? i would love to turn it around to hide it. can it be removed?

The Ecodecors logo is very small However it is on only one side of the bench and you may flip it if you do not wish it to show

If it gets wet everyday in the shower, how does it hold up?

I bought mine in August 2018 and it’s the shower in my master bathroom, so it wet about every day. It still looks amazing. I plan to post pictures in the Porduct Review section. I can’t say enough good things about this stool. It is stunning, even after 2 years of daily use.
