Compatible with standard euro-data-plate
Socket fits perfectly within a standard (MK or other) euro data plate.I was able to flush mount using one of these in conjunction with a deep metal back-box in a wall, removing the need for the original NTL/ Virgin surface mount boxes.Socket - as advertised/ shown - is a genuine Virgin Media one, with the logo printed on the plastic.Connected in seconds to the VM cable "F connector" coming through my wall, with no re-termination necessary.Delighted with this.

Nice replacement
Needed to replace old unit as it didn't fit in my new wall box, both were over 20 years old and not looking their best.

Solid speeds after installation
It was installed by the Virgin engineer and removed by another virgin engineer when I upgraded to the HUB 5, after which my speeds became erratic and generally slow.I reinstalled the isolator (identical to the one listed here) and BANG straight back to over 500mbps and a consistent 67 Megabytes download and that's over wireless.Awesome!
