Solid. These plates hold their shape, don't get soggy and add an element of sophistication to your party setting that you simply can't get with paper or plastic. And you can feel good about saving Mother Earth.I got these for appetizers and the 11" rounds for dinner. Both are equal. The bamboo rounds feel better for dinner than squares. But I'm old fashioned.For good measure get the birch cutlery.

I used these for a couples night where I served a range of appetizers, including dips and sauces. These plates held up to it all. I will order again.

Gorgeous, but a little thinner and flimsier than expected. Still classier than paper plates amd guests seemed impressed.

Nice plates, and generally as pictured, but several plates on the outside of the stack in the package were covered with mold.

These are really really nice the only thing I would say is that they don’t always come with the dark brown trim the ones I received were just solid bamboo color which is fine because I imagine things are manufactured as they are - so just a FYI - otherwise fabulous product
