Chainsaw Chaps Technical 8 Layers Chainsaw Pants Class B for Chainsaw Users

I have had a few dangerous mishaps over the years, where I nicked my jeans on the thigh while bucking felled trees. There is a reason why arborists and lumberjacks wear these chaps in their work. These are a bit bulky and heavy, so I use suspenders to hold them in place. Appear to be good quality. Recommended for safety and peace of mind!

I received my Yardmaris Technical Chaps, Type B. I want to say that, so far, the quality seems outstanding. I like the thickness of the 1050 denier nylon as well as the construction.  I have used chaps with a thinner outside cover and they do get connected to briars and other things rather easily and it will tend to pull some of the fibers loose. I am 6' 3" tall and, was able to fold the waistband over to make the length fit as I ordered the 40" inch chaps.  I use suspenders with my chaps so, the extra length is not a problem. I like the way the pockets are designed as there will be room up top for smaller items and I am waiting to see how convenient the wedge pocket is on the side of the leg. I know one reviewer had complained about the Velcro on the leg straps, however, once I got them adjusted I was able to attach the Velcro and that kept the straps from hanging loose, which could be a safety concern if the chain or other objects were to wrap-around those straps.  All in all, I am impressed with the quality, style and materials of the chaps. I hope to never find out if they will protect my leg from a chain strike however, based on the design reviews, I feel confident I will be protected.

I'm 6'3" and they are plenty long. I actually fold the belt down and snap it to take up a little length.

I put these pants on and I have to say. Feels awesome. I go out into the cold in winter and cut some trees down for next year and it feels like I'm wearing a blanket on my legs. Keeps them nice and warm and safe.

Despite being a rev limiter bar swinging chainsaw nut job, with these chaps I managed to cut up a lot of downed trees and finish the job with all the limbs of my tripod left intact :) Great product

Been using a chainsaw for 40 years and have never had an accident. Chainsaw got my knee and 26 stitches later I order the pants. I feel alot safer with them on while I am running my chainsaws. They are comfortable and light. Satisfied so I would recommend them.
