I do not write reviews often, but this product deserves a review. I am not a big believer in supplements, because I think the body benefits from getting minerals and vitamins from real foods..... This product is different and more than a supplement. The results are immediate and noticeable. For about a year, my sleep was very poor. I often woke up in the middle of the night and I could not fall back to sleep. This product makes me sleep through the night with the most amazing dreams. When I wake up, I am refreshed and full of energy. With this product, I feel more grounded, centered, calm, and at peace, without making me feel drugged, subdued, or altered in any way. Just more the way I want to feel. I have recommended this product to many of my friends and clients, and I want to extend my recommendations to all Amazon customers that are looking for a product that helps them sleep and feel at peace. I also take Kavinace from the same company. Currently, it is not available on Amazon, but I highly recommend it in combination with TravaCor. It's pricy, but worth it!

I started using Travacor about 2 1/2 years ago for chronic insomnia, which I've had issues with since I was 3 (seriously, my mom told me that), I was 33 when I started. I had also developed pretty bad anxiety for the last 8 years that could be pretty insufferable. By the time I found the right doctor, I had gone to at least 8 different doctors, including 2 sleep clinics, in the past 10 years. Every one wanted to use a SSRI or benzo to treat me. SSRIs didn't do anything productive, and while benzos and sleep aids help me sleep, it's not the same refreshing sleep you get naturally.I was recommended to start taking Travacor by my naturopath/doctor (both western and eastern trained) after getting the neuro testing done. I highly recommend getting the neuro test done and finding a doctor/naturopath who can read the test and recommend an approach. If you don't have the right imbalance of neurotransmitters, this may not work for you. I was very low on a lot of my neurotransmitters, most notably serotonin and dopamine. I started taking this along with Taurine and Magnesium Gluconate in the evening and within a month I started sleeping on my own without any assistance from sleeping pills or benzos. Probably within 6 months, my anxiety was completely gone. I still have anxious moments, like a normal person, but not the high strung, heart pounding, I-think-I'm-going-crazy, anxiety.I'm still taking all three supplements to this day. When I don't have the Travacor to take (like now since USPS lost the package), it definitely affects the quality of sleep I have. I'm not going through withdrawals or anything, I did sleep the past two nights, but it's a broken sleep where it takes awhile to get to sleep and then I wake up a bunch during the night.Having a good, comfortable mattress and a routine to wind down every night, helps too.

Get these for my mother her is what she says about this product, "I take these as my Dr. suggestion, I believe these pills are great for getting you back on track, they have helped my mind get better, I have come a long way from where I was to where I am now.. It is not all about taking prescribed medication that leads to more problems and only patches the problems, It is better to mend and repair what is wrong with more products that are good for you. These are one of those pills, not a patch but a fix."Update: Mom has been taking TravaCor since 2014, it has been 2 years now and it has helped her tremendously with her GABA, serotonin and taurine. She is still taking them because it is a journey to healing and not a patch or a cover. Again please don't use this product unless you are under a physicians care, she actually had testing done by her doctor before they put her on these. I am including pictures of the pills against a quarter for an idea of the size.

I normally don't take the time to write a review but I hope this can help people suffering from depression and anxiety like I used to. This supplement is a miracle for me. I have used something that is in this supplement called 5-HTP in the past and it worked great for 2 months then kinda stopped working. I've used ST Johns wort and it worked great but then stopped working. This is the first supplement that helps me fall asleep immediately and feel happy throughout the day. If you haven't tried it you should! It works better than any antidepressant I've ever taken and I've taken almost all of them. There is no grogginess during the day if it's taken at night. My life has turned around and I'm grateful I found something that works for me.

I use this for sleep along with Kavinace. This provides an anti anxiety component and the Kavinace has high amouts of Gaba. I sleep well. However these products wont help you if you're not low Gaba.You need blood tests. Travacor is for people who think to much, good for people with ADHD. Important: See a naturopath first, MD's don't have a clue about nuro transmitter deficiencies. My doctor told me this kind of "stuff" is junk and told me it was better to take sleeping pills than to "waist my money". I was a complete insomniac but his only solution was sleeping pills. But since my naturopath put me on this I sleep well. I feel good that the problem was addressed and not that I'm knocked out with sleeping pills. However its more expebsive this way. My insurance does not cover naturopaths and it costs me $55 a month anyway for these pills.For the doctor:You may like sleeping pills, I found Lunesta perfect and now it's generic, cheap. No drug hangover at all. Asleep in 20 minutes. Less expensive, especially if you have a drug plan. You may not care if your knocked out, as long as you sleep. :)
