The steps arrived early than schedule and well packaged too so no scratches etc. I spent sometime carefully assembling the steps for my new hobby room. I took my time and checked the instruction constantly so no mistake made. A bit tricky to assemble on my own and one or two of the screws were very hard to tighten. With the use of a rubber glove, a knitted glove and a pair of pliers did it in the end. I am really pleased with them. Lovely colour of wood, sturdy and fit neatly under the working surface when not in use. Brilliant.

Makes up to an acceptable and useful bit of furniture, but if you want a quality product buy a ready-made step stool.Assembled with a supplied Allen key but also needs a crosshead screwdriver.Every part labelled with a sticker, but care is needed to check the diagram and make sure everything is the right way round rather then diving in and assuming you don't need to follow the instructions. A false start resulted in no lasting problems.Force needed to assemble some of the parts with the Allen key.Well packaged with enough foam to protect the pieces, which are sturdy, cut to a good tolerance and stained well.Happy with this at the price as I did not have the money to buy a ready made stool.

Very good quality. The Allan key provided just managed the job of assembly before it started slipping. Very happy with the end result.

Nice solid step but it came in so many pieces , self assembly . Which I didn’t expect .

Good looking and sturdy but you need some DIY skills to build it. I built it on top of the kitchen table. Without an electric screwdriver and the right bits it would have taken some time to build and screw well enough to make it sturdy. Overall I'm pleased with the product.

Took ages to erect then the spray paint was of poor quality too much hassle to send back will spray it in the summer

Very sturdy product, easy to build but read the instruction. I made a simple error and had to start again. Very pleased.
