Sylvers, Foster

Foster has had a tough life with the law when he became of age. However, his contribution to R&B and dance music will live on thru his family, who brought both down back in the day! Being the youngest of the Sylvers clan, someone thought that he had that factor to release his own solo. MISDEMEANOR will ALWAYS be that track for me! Played it for my brother and some friends and we all went up over it! The rest of the cd, however, didn't do it totally for me, but held enough musical interest to keep me listening. From what I understand, he was a little older than Michael Jackson when he released this. It held hope and promise. An era gone by that, when listening to his voice, we can only want to come back again. His pre-teen vocals were strong and carried this disc from the first track to the last, and I'm glad that I was able to get my hands on it.

I am also in shock that they've chosen to (finally) release this on CD. Through the Sylver(s) collections that I have, of course "Misdemeanor" was one of the featured songs! But, still, I'm going to score this CD!Only had to wait or 41 years (I have the wax at home)!Four stars for the album/CD...Five stars for the memories of the 70's...GREAT TIMES!Update 04/30/15: Just received my CD! Crisp and clean-sounding (as expected)! A nice touch is the addition of the second version of Misdemeanor (dubbed and slightly extended, no less)! Priced to move! Join me and get your copy!

Have been waiting for years for someone to give this album a CD release. The album's soulful stylings coupled with youthful essence makes this one a classic for the fan of old school soul and r&b music. Now all the need to do is release "The Sylvers" first three albums from the Pride/MGM label and it will be a true collection of great music!

I am glad I bought this, and I see the influence the sylvers made to music history. When I saw this, I had to order it, and it came very quickly. I will be buying more from them in the future.

I am thrilled you made this CD available. Foster had a great voice! I wish The Sylvers could get back together and sing again.

ソウルというよりもポップスのカテゴリーとして聞き入ってます。

キッズソウルのクラシックとして名高いFoster Sylversのファースト。Paul McCartneyのカバーなんかも入っていて、飽きさせません。中でも「Misdemeanor」は、一時期サンプリングのネタにされまくったそうですが、そんな逸話にも納得の完成度。小沢健二も渡辺満里奈の「バースデイボーイ」でパクってます（笑）
