What you need in a bind if you have the right amount of money.
This product was useful in replacing the broken one, but broke within 6 months of installation. Damaged bolts have in the product have caused over $1000 in repairs to the vehicle. Plus, the warranty included in nothing but a joke. Tried contacting about warranty and was told that the broken bolts in the product were not covered by warranty. Do not buy if you can avoid it. It will only wind up costing you more money in the long run. My advice...take it to the dealer or an authorized mechanic to have the problem solved.

NOT FIT 2012 Ford Edge Limited 3.5L
Plug is completely different than the original! The Amazon item pictured has the correct plug, but the one I received comes with a different plug! I had to cut the wires and connect the old plug to the new coil after I installed it on the car. Very inconvenient!Clean compressor picture = Amazon item received (wrong plug type and different than Item pictured)Dirty compressor pictured = 2012 Ford Edge Limited 3.5L from the car (original correct plug, just like the one pictured)

NOT A FIT FOR 2011 FORD EDGE - THOUGH IT SAYS IT IS
The electrical connector is not a factory fit for the 2011 Ford Edge. I had to cut the wires, solder the connector from the old compressor onto the new compressor, and get everything covered with heat shrink. The work itself isn't the big deal but the problem lies in not discovering the connector is wrong until it was already bolted back onto the car. Additionally, introducing another potential failure point into the process certainly isn't an ideal scenario
