I bought this for my husband as a sort of “starter” tank because I didn’t want to invest a lot of money in to something he wouldn’t use or didn’t work. Compared to the prices of most of the other sonic tanks, I wasn’t expecting a whole lot, especially considering it came with a personal sonic tank free. But let me tell you, this tank really surprised us! It works great! It’s a nice size to be able to have on a desk or even carry with you. The material seems sturdy, it’s a hard steel like material. The knobs are clearly labelled and it’s easy to use. Heats up quickly and doesn’t have a weird smell as it’s heating or cleaning. Definitely recommend this is you’re on a budget or just need a small tank for cleaning. Great value!

It definitely works really well. Im very glad to have this. Ive removed rust, corrosion, and cleaned old silverware in it.If you have a few drill bits or screwdrivers, tools, anything metal that needs rust removed. this and a bit of vinegar and a light scrubbing after will make it just ease away.

Well made and I'm happy with the performance of this cleaner. It's a nice size for many items.Like other reviews, the one issue is the heater temperature control. It heats fairly quickly but consistently overshoots the set temperature. Set at 70 degrees results in 100 degrees actual and 120 setpoint will get to 175 degrees.I'm glad I got the version with mechanical controls based on complaints about the digital versions.The supplier is also very responsive with messaging.

What a great unit! It heats up very fast. I've read other reviews for different brands and the one big complaint was the heating unit. It was often said to use hot water as the heater would struggle to get it up to temperature. This machine heated up my part in 30 minutes where I couldn't hold it in my hand. It wa a stainless steel recoil compensator. I have the 15lt model. Does a great job on breaking down powder deposits. I use Simple Green 1:1 with water. I'm really impressed.I use tap water in the tank and place my parts in beakers with my cleaning solution.

You may be assured that I do not enjoy writing a negative review. I'm doing this because I feel this product is unsafe.First the positives: Packaging, appearance, and noise levels are fine. The ultrasonic cleaning aspect does a very decent job.Now the bad: The Heater. The variable setting heater control does not have any form of temperature sensing / regulation / control. The temperature control knob is simply an on-off switch. In fact, when the cleaner timer runs to zero the heater stays on!! At first, I thought there was a problem with my temperature sensor because when I set the controller to a low setting, after a short while the water in the tank was very, very hot. Sure enough, the instruction sheet confirms there is no temperature sensing. Here's the quote: "Be aware that this unit DOES NOT automatically deactivate its heating once the target temperature is reached. ALWAYS turn of the heating unit manually when cleaning sensitive objects." Capital letters shown are the manufacturer's emphasis, not mine. Yikes!! I read a review from a gentleman who destroyed an expensive set of dentures due to this misleading and unsafe design. Clearly, the product does not operate as one would reasonably assume it does. I intend to make Amazon aware of this safety issue.Oh, and lastly, the instruction manual shows the tank capacity is "3.2 Liters". I measured it. With the basket in place (and nothing in the basket) it holds exactly 2 liters of water (measured to the bottom edge of the basket's top frame). This is about the level you would reasonably fill the tank to. That's a 38% discrepancy.I hope this review helps. I did return the unit and received a full refund.

Seems to be ok but quite small ultrasonic capacity

I bought this with low expectations, as I never had an ultrasonic cleaner like this. I put some small engine parts in there for only 15 minutes with cold water, and they came out very clean. I waited until the water could heat up to about 120F and then did it again, and all of the parts were coming out spotless. Removing some of the really thick buildup with a wire brush really helps. You can put smaller parts in a mesh bag and put them in there, and they get very clean that way, and you don't have to fish them out. You can even use a ziploc bag too if you want for small parts. One thing I learned from a guy on YouTube is you can put plastic jars with a powerful solvent in them and float them in the water, and the ultrasonic waves still penetrate the container and clean it. The machine is fairly loud close up to it a few feet away, but I just use some noise earmuffs, and that's a good way to protect your hearing.

PRO: Cleans well, had a battery tie down with some corrosion, but it in there for maybe 10 minutes, not even at full hot temperature and it came out super clean. Very happy with how it works. Also, purchased because it has simple dials instead of buttons.CON: Very loud, but not sure if it is any louder then any other ultra sonic cleanerEDIT: Was going to be looking at warrantee information and then saw another review stating there is no real temperature control. So while the unit does work great, just don't forget to turn the temperature off when not using. It is deceptive as it does state there is temperature range (which would imply control) in the basic description on amazon.
