took a while to tare apart the laptop and replace it but it works fine. i am using a alienware 15 r 1 so its a old laptop but after i installed the new battery everything booted up no issues. if you need a replacement this one works. will update if it goes bad in a few months.

My Alienware laptop worked great after getting this battery installed. I needed to reformat due to a bad hard drive but the battery just gave my old laptop new life.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! IT WILL RUIN YOUR LAPTOP!I purchased this battery out of desperation for my Alienware 15 after my old battery no longer worked at all and Dell would only sell me refurbished batteries. The battery worked at first, but would cause the computer to crash randomly when unplugged sometimes even at 80%. I ran a diagnosis on it through my BIOS, spent countless hours on the phone with Dell tech support, and even had both Geeksquad and a professional computer technician look at my computer as everyone was confused why the battery would fail, yet show it works. This battery even failed at 90% once when I was updating Windows 10, which caused my entire OS to fail and I lost EVERYTHING on my computer.Well, I eventually bit the bullet and paid another $50 to remove this battery and install a refurbished one and now everything works perfectly! When Geeksquad returned this battery to me to return for a refund they pointed out all of the stratches and blemishes on it as well as the fact that "Alienware" had been crossed out with a permanent marker and someone put a sticker over it. Obviously, this seller sold me a refurbished and dysfunctional battery and I am VERY upset with all of the countless hours and data this has caused me to lose. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

This product was a perfect fit and replacement for the original. The laptop configuration makes it difficult to change the battery.

We used this to replace the battery of Alienware gaming laptop and it worked well as advertised. No issues so far after two months.

I purchased this battery for an alienware 15 r2 3 months ago and it is already dead! Even before Windows starts, a warning shows up on screen while turning ok the pc that tells me that the battery suffered permanent damage. It wasn't even a cheap purchase for it to be dead in only 3 months of use! Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this to anyone!
